After seeing Tom Cruise dance as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder, we DEFINITELY want to see this!

New Line has offered Cruise a supporting role in a film adaptation of the Broadway play Rock of Ages.

If he takes the part, he'd be playing a singing bartender, who would totally rock out, 80s style!

Do we think he'd be good in a musical? Maybe. Are we extremely curious to see this? Absolutely!

Give it a shot, Tom! You're doing another Mission: Impossible, which is fine, but now it's time to try something new!

Well, there are at least two words Jenny from the Block uses to describe Tom Cruise that we'll agree with!

The diva, who performed a dance number with the big bag of unstable at the MTV Movie Awards, said:

"Working with Tom was amazing! I'm such a hard worker, and I'm kind of intense about my job. It's great to work with someone who is just as intense and passionate and crazy about getting everything right. I said OK, we'd do a little mash-up of [Ludacris' 'Get Back' and Lopez's 'Get Right']. I come out and sing a little and then we dance together. But [I told him] you have to learn this cane dance that I do n the video. That is one of the hardest routines. But he did it. He really, really did it. And he did a great job! I was really proud of him."

Yeah - exactly!

We'll take 'crazy' and 'intense' and leave it at that! No need for the rest of the statement!

Who cares, really?

Tom Cruise's producer character from Tropic Thunder Les Grossman is getting a spin-off movie.

Tom will be producing the movie along with Ben Stiller. Ben says:

“Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds. He has assured me he plans to quote, ‘Fucking kill the shit out of this movie and make Citizen fucking Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”

Ha. Ha.

The actor is currently working on a Les Grossman movie!
