A few months ago Anne Hathaway did one of the funniest SNL skits of the year!
She impersonated Claire Danes' character on the awesome show Homeland, and although she nailed the shizz out of it - she was worried her friend Claire may take offense to it.

Here it is!
The new movie poster for the film adaptation of Les Misérables is out (above) and it's so pretty!
Using the same iconic image of young Cosette's face in a crimson shade against a cream background is a super awesome updated version of the musical's original poster.
And of course, the poster highlights its amaaaaAAAAAAAaaazing cast!

Seriously, whoever is in charge of the casting department for this is just freakin' genius. We know most of you are shaking your heads and going, "This is just going to be like musical Valentine's Day: tons of celebs with no substance."
We have one word for you: Chicago. Go watch Renee Zellweger work it as Roxie and then come talk to us.
Okay, here's the scoop:

Last month, we were excited to learn that The King's Speech director Tom Hooper is up for the new Les Miz musical movie.
We thought it was a great idea, and now we're pumped to hear that negotiations have begun for him to sign on to direct the new film version of the Victor Hugo novel/Broadway musical.
If done right, this could DEFINITELY be an Oscar contender!
We'll look forward to hearing confirmation on Tom as the Les Miz director soon.
Do U think A Tom Hooper-directed Les Miserables could be a Best Picture contender?

Back in October, the musical version of Les Misérables celebrated its quarter century birthday.
Now, it looks like a new film version of the Victor Hugo novel/Broadway musical is in the works, and The King's Speech director Tom Hooper may take on the project.
Unlike 1998's non-musical Les Miserables film which starred Liam Neeson, this version is being "conceived as a big-budget musical."
We think this is a great idea! We fully support exposing a new generation to Les Miz…especially if Tom Hooper works on the project. He's definitely got the directing skillz to pull it off.
Are U excited for more Les Miz? Do U think the King's Speech director is right for the project?
