Ah, an angel doing another angel!

This is the kind of girl-on-girl action we enjoy watching!

We didn't think anyone could beautifully bellow Ellie Goulding's Britpop-tacular hit The Writer as well as she did on her 2010 album Lights, but we were wrong!

Ch-ch-check Kelly Clarkson fulfilling yet another lucky fan's request in England last night (above) and making the entire world is the better for it!

We're not saying her version is necessarily better that Ellie's original but it's certainly a breathtakingly fresh spin on a song we thought we knew!!

Ugh!! We curse the music Gods who are allowing Kel's unprecedentedly awesome tour to come to an end!

Okay, so….

Gleeks, you know how we feel about our beloved Glee. You know that the next 27 days are possibly going to be the loooooongest of the summer for us. It’s been quite a hiatus and in truth, without any new music from the halls of McKinley High, we’ve been going a little stir crazy.

Okay, we’ve been going A LOT stir crazy. Our mind has been coming up with wild scenarios. Our dreams are plagued by Darren Criss duets with us in bed Lea Michele and Finn singing in bootcamp, preferably shirtless. (Hmm. Did we say “plagued?”)

But then we saw the most recent promo and we realized, the new season is just upon us … and we have little to no idea what songs are actually going to be performed. So, we decided to rein in our subconscious and come up with a list of songs we’d love to hear the cast perform in the first episode back.

…wait. Where are the lights?

A Boston weatherman was stunned when lightning struck the studio he was reporting live in, subsequently cutting the power off!

The blackout only lasted a second, though. And the weatherman bravely continued his segment.

Thankfully, the internet exists so you can see it all for yourself (above)!

Here's what he said on Twitter:

"Glad I dont use profanity when bolt struck the building, scared the #@%& out of me!"

Even though it was more 'professional' not to use profanity - we think that in terms of television, nothing could've been better.

Awww, how thoughtful!

Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley like to take a Christmas sabbatical to the mountains of Utah.

Last year, the Utahans left a "civilized note" for the happy couple from their community leaders.

What did it say? Heigl and Kelley "failed" to take down their Christmas lights.

Katherine shrugged off the notice and said the following:

Thanks to the poor economy and the rising costs of energy, even the Queen of England has to go green (sort of)!

The Royal Family's heating bill was $3.5 million last year and is only expected to rise by 20% this year, but their homes aren't the only thing freezing. The British government has FROZEN the Royal budget, so the Queen is now faced with the task of saving energy!

On top of roaming the halls of Buckingham Palace to shut off unnecessary lights herself, signs have been posted, reading:

"The attention is drawn of all members of staff to the need to switch off unwanted lights."
