The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Not by selling guns.

Apparently, a company used a photo of Will Ferrell from the movie Elf without the actor's permission for a deal on an AR-15, which is not a code for some sort of engine part to Santa's sleigh. It's a gun.

Well, sounds like Courtney Love’s rights to her late husband’s estate are dwindling down even more.
Reportedly, Courtney and Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, has recently obtained the rights to her dad’s name, likeness and appearance.
Back in 2010, Love received a $2.75 million loan from Frances’ trust fund and still has yet to pay it back.

Looks like Miley does NOT want people having sex with her likeness. Can you blame her?
According to reports, Miley Cyrus is suing Pipedream Productions for using her likeness with their Finally Mylie! Love Doll.
Mileybird is suing the company for "defamation of character," and she's seeking "an unspecified sum in damages and suspension of the doll's sales."
Here's how the description of the $25 doll reads:
“She’s had years of practice speaking into the mic, and now she’s ready for yours. Just add air and this teen-queen pole-dancing princess comes of age right before your own eyes. Daddy’s little stoner is ready for you to bone her!”
We can def see where this would creep her out A LOT.
Guess we'll see if she's able to get these sex dolls off of shelves. Good luck, Miley!
Do U think Miley's got a solid case here?

New year, new drama for Mattel.
Patricia Day of the punk rock group HorrorPops is suing the doll maker and Hard Rock Cafe claiming they used her likeness for their Rockabilly Barbie without her permission.
Even though Mattel is based out of California and Hard Rock's in Florida, the lawsuit was filed in Indiana, which "has the most favorable 'right of publicity' statute in the United States".
It's also inneresting to note that Patricia is represented by One LLP, who is also representing LA Triumph in the lawsuit against Madonna and the use of Material Girl.
Patricia is asking for all the profits made from the doll, to recall and destroy the doll, punitive damages, and attorney fees.
Think she'll get it???
