Our Little Tonys Correspondent Iain Armitage Is Going To Be The Young Sheldon Cooper In The Big Bang Theory Spinoff!

no title

Let's face it, prequels always suck. So we weren't too interested in the Big Bang Theory spinoff Sheldon.

That is, until we learned CBS's frontrunner to play the young Sheldon Cooper was none other than our favorite little Tony Awards red carpet correspondent, Iain Armitage!

The rising star will reportedly take over the role from Jim Parsons, who won FOUR Emmys playing the neurotic math genius.

We're also seeing that the network is looking at Zoe Perry to play Sheldon's mom! Since Zoe is the daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who plays Mary Cooper on the hit sitcom, it seems like a perfect fit to us!

But we're just so happy for Iain!

Of course, no matter how big he gets, he'll always be our man at the Tonys! See some of his classic red carpet celebrity interviews (below)!

Here's Lindsay Lohan Dropping A Major Hint About Wanting To Be In The Little Mermaid!

Lindsay Lohan wants to be the little mermaid.

Hint, hint, Disney!

Lindsay Lohan would like to star in the rumored live-action version of The Little Mermaid and she's not afraid to let everyone know!

The actress posted a side-by-side of herself and the iconic Disney character on her Instagram Sunday in what many believe is her way of campaigning for the role.

Lindsay even admitted as much in an interview given to a Turkish TV station while discussing her humanitarian work, confessing she's done with Disney movies, but also saying:

"I would love to play The Little Mermaid one day."

Well, she definitely has the voluminous tresses required, but she's also 30 and probably a little too old to play a teenager. Of course Ariel's age would probably be more advanced in the actual film.

But will there even be a movie???

In an interview with Vulture in November, Lin-Manuel Miranda had this to say about the fledgling project:

"We're in super-early talks — I literally don't have a title for what my job on The Little Mermaid is yet. Right now, it's the guy who wears the 'don't mess it up' hat. If I could sign a contract with that job title on it, that would be great! But that's sort of where we are."

We have a feeling Disney might go with an unknown for the coveted title role, but don't stop dreaming, LiLo!

Kellyanne Conway Has A Message For The 'Black-Stretch-Pants Women Of America'

kellyanne defends inauguration day coat

Kellyanne Conway is just the worst.

Not only is she the face of Donald Trump's campaign, but she's also unbearably condescending. During a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, the White House adviser responded to all of the hate she received for the red, white, and blue Gucci coat she wore on Inauguration day.

In case you forgot, Miz Conway looked like a chorus member from Lin-Manuel Miranda's production of Hamilton… and not in a good way. At the time, Kellyanne claimed the jacket was simply "Trump revolutionary wear." Someone gag us with a spoon, please!

Of course, the former campaign manager had some shade for her haters as she snarked:
