We're still bummed that Ben Affleck got snubbed, but the award couldn't have gone to a more seasoned director!!

That's right, Ang Lee has won the Oscar for Best Director! Life of Pi represent!!

Up against some SERIOUS talent, it was no easy fight! Also up for the award was Amour (Michael Haneke), Beasts of the Southern Wild (Benh Zeitlin), Lincoln (Steven Spielberg), and Silver Linings Playbook (David O. Russell) — which is about as amazeballs as you can get!!

We're so happy for Ang, though! Good work to everyone else too!!

It's too bad they don't have a Best Tiger award!! LOLz!!

Chris beat out Lucy Alibar and Benh Zeitlin for Beasts Of The Southern Wild, David Magee for Life Of Pi, Tony Kushner for Lincoln, and David O. Russell for Silver Linings Playbook.

We applaud all these writers on their nominations! It's not easy to turn a book into a movie!

They never fit into the DVD case! LOLz!
