Neanderthals are now-extinct. Which is probably a good thing! We doubt they'd be able to drive cars very well with their big feet!

But the question of how they became extinct is still a pivotal question for scientists!

And one researcher thinks he may have found one part of what caused that extinction - rabbits!

Honestly — just because this has the pretense of business, doesn't mean that there wasn't a spark across that table!

This is absolutely horrific!

A medication used in France since 1979 - as a diabetes drug and appetite suppressant - has been linked to the death of up to 2,000 people and caused heart problems in 3,500 more!

For over 30 years, Mediator has been prescribed to up to five million people, to the extent that French healthcare system even subsidized its cost, but according to a forthcoming official report, the pill features an active ingredient called benflourex, which could cause heart valves to thicken, fatigue, and breathlessness - and worse yet, it has NO effect on weight loss!

The drug company which produced the pill, Servier, is now under serious scrutiny from the public for ignoring repeated warnings from experts that it was dangerous, and French Health Minister Xavier Bertrand is planning a formal investigation to uncover what its long-term side effects might be.

He announced:

'Our message to all those who took Mediator is that they must see a doctor - particularly those who took it for three months over the past four years.'

President Sarkozy even admits:

'The public deserves no less than total transparency in this matter.'

Of course they do! It's absolutely deplorable that the company would continue to knowingly produce something so dangerous!

Uh-oh! We feel like this is only the tip of the ice berg!

George Clooney's girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, has recently been linked to an Italian cocaine scandal, and is apparently distraught over the fact that she may have been secretly taped doing the drug as part of an extortion plan!

Italian socialite Francesca Biagini reveals:

"I have heard that Elisabetta is distraught but that George is standing by her. In Milan, everyone is talking about this. It's a huge scandal and we think more celebrities will be named. Elisabetta was a regular at Hollywood in Milan for several years. She's friends with a lot of the models who live in the city. I last saw her there at a birthday party last year for the captain of AC Milan. I never saw her doing cocaine, but she's always the life and soul of the party. She's a fun girl. She's lucky that George hasn't bounced yet! He certainly has left over women for less!
