We were told to expect some crazy evidence to surface once Michael Jackson's wrongful death trial began, but there's no way we could have prepared ourselves for this!

Emails and court documents have recently been released showing that the late King of Pop was planning on lip synching during his final shows for his This Is It tour!

Apparently he was in such bad shape at the time he was unable to sing and dance at the same time and needed the the help of a vocal track just to get through his performances!

Michael’s family claims this is proof that AEG was perfectly aware of his poor health and mental state, yet they continued to push him through the tour.

Other emails between AEG promoter Randy Phillips and AEG president Tim Leiweke show the two complaining about his horrible condition and how it was affecting rehearsals.

In one message, Randy talks about having to help a dazed Michael get dressed, saying:

Kelly Clarkson chose to sing live at the Presidential Inauguration.

But does that mean she thinks less of Beyoncé??

After Bey admitted to lip-synching in the most fabulous of fashions, Kelly chimed in with her opinion by telling radio station K-FROG:

"I feel bad for her. Take it from a girl who's actually stood there and done it. It's the most nerve-racking situation. And it was cold, y'all. It was so cold. Also, that event isn't about me or James Taylor or Beyonce. That event is about Obama and Biden and our history and our country. I get the fact that she was like, 'This isn't about me, so I don't want to mess up. I don't want this to ruin this moment.' Don't think I didn't think about, 'Oh shoot, I shoulda totally lip-synced this.'"

GURL POWAH!

We all knew Bey could slay anything live anyways, just like she did when she proved it at her Super Bowl press conference.

So glad to see there's no condescending cattiness here!

For her Super Bowl press conference, Beyonce sang the national anthem LIVE to prove that she has the POWER to sing it LIVE and BEAUTIFULLY!

And then she DROPPED IT!

Though she did promise that she will be singing live at the Super Bowl, she also confirmed that she DID lip-synch during the Presidential Inauguration, saying:

"I am a perfectionist. I practice til my feet bleed, but I did not have time to rehearse. It was a live show, a very emotional show, and due to not having the proper sound-check I did not feel comfortable to take a risk. It was about the president of the United States, so I decided to sing along with a pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry and I'm very proud of my performance."

HOT DAMN!!

Whatever happened to letting one's own talent live up to it's own potential?!

Shocking as it may seem, Beyonce may (or may NOT) have lip-synched her way through the National Anthem at Barack Obama's second inauguration on Monday. As the controversy swirls, we're reminded that Bey isn't the first diva to be accused — and found guilty! — of using a recorded track for a live performance.

Interestingly enough, some of the most famous voices of our generation have pulled this trick before … including Whitney Houston, whose performance of the Star Spangled Banner at the 1991 Super Bowl to this day is the performance all others are compared to — and girl sure as hell didn't sing it live!
