So maybe this is why Khloe Kardashian had a few awkward moments while hosting her first live X Factor episodes last week!

It turns out that Mario Lopez kept reading HER lines off of the teleprompter during Thursday's results show.

Sources say the youngest Kardashian sister got "really upset" because it threw her off her A game, but it wasn't necessarily her co-host's fault. The entire production was experiencing technical difficulties and the teleprompter madness was just one of many issues.

So basically, Mario used his years of hosting experience to make sure the live shows went according to plan, even when there was confusion over who was saying what.

We hope they get on that, but Khloe may have a solution that doesn't involve a tech team. Rumor has it that Khloe may be leaving the hosting duties to Lopez while she focuses on interviewing the contestants so her wonderful personality can flourish.

Since that's what producers are paying for, they might as well get rid of the script if it's only holding her back.
