James Corden Dishes On Rihanna's Canceled Grammys Performance He Was Supposed To Be A Part Of & How LL Cool J Saved His Day!

The Grammys were absolutely spectacular Monday night and were filled with several incredible performances.

One artist we missed out on though was Rihanna as it was revealed she had to pull out at the last minute due to doctors orders after she was diagnosed with bronchitis. However, she did take to Twitter to apologize saying:

Though we're bummed we didn't get to see RiRi's performance of Kiss Me Better, we're glad James Corden could dish some deets about what her performance was supposed to be on the Late Late Show Monday night!

Unfortunately while we don't get a ton of details, we know the 27-year-old had an "'80s talk show thing" planned as part of the show.

Ch-ch-check out Corden reveal what his role was supposed to be in the Barbados beauty's number as well as how LL Cool J saved his Grammys day (below)!

LL Cool J & Simone Smith

The Grammys red carpet wouldn't be complete without the man of the hour!

LL Cool J stepped on the scene like he owns the place, because let's be real, he basically does!

Wearing a classic black three-piece tux, bow tie, and his signature flat cap, the 48-year-old host looked classic next to his stunning wife Simone Smith.

Miz Smith matched her long tresses to her purple-midnight blue outfit that hugged her figure in all the right places and had just the right amount of sparkle for music's biggest night!

But wait… it gets better! It's actually a jumper!

The Grammy Statues Will Have GoPros Built Into Them This Year! But Will Someone Take One Into The Restroom…

We see you, future technology.

As you're probably aware, the Grammy Awards are airing Monday night on CBS, and since CBS is all about what's cool and new, they've decided to change the statuettes for the show this year.

In a move designed to show millennials how "with it" the Recording Academy still is, the golden gramophones will have GoPros built into their bases for the first time ever.

Vote: The Most Outrageous Grammy Outfits Of All Time!

The Grammys will use the footage both during the broadcast and on their live stream online, but this just seems like a huge waste of money — how much better can Taylor Swift's multiple wins possibly look from the view of her lower arm?

Unless of course she accidentally holds one next to her mysterious belly button…

And if someone's is turned on during a REALLY unfortunate moment, this could go terribly wrong for the network… so we're actually on board. LOLz!

Basically, we're in for a lot of crotch shots tonight.
