Chicago's WGN-Channel 9 news anchors were SHOCKED when their traffic helicopter picked up footage of an airplane crash in the middle of a busy road.

Little did they know… the "crash" was merely a set piece for an upcoming episode of NBC's new drama Chicago Fire!

Obvi the best part of the video is when they find out they've been duped.

The anchors actually seem PISSED that a crash didn't take place!
