First Snow White, now Lois Lane! Any more iconic roles you want to hand over to Kristen Stewart, Hollywood?!

We kid, we kid. Actually, we've just learned that the rumor KStew turned down an offer to star in the latest incarnation of the Man of Steel franchise alongside Henry Cavill was just that - a rumor.

Turns out, Kristen couldn't have turned down the role because it was never offered to her in the first place. Her rep came forward to clarify that Kristen "has not met on the film" and that the whole story has been "fabricated."

Alright, we'll buy that…but if it is offered to her, would she say "yes"?! We wonder!

Earlier this week, we were SO excited to report that The Tudors' Henry Cavill landed the role of Superman in the upcoming reboot of the franchise.

Now, it looks like Olivia Wilde is a strong contender for the Lois Lane role, and we think she's PERFECT for it!

Sure, it would have been cool to see Christina Hendricks as Miss Superman, but we def think Olivia can pull this off.

According to a source, Wilde has already screen tested for the role.

Good luck, Olivia! We hope they give you the chance to bring some of that Tron: Legacy hotness to the Man Of Steel's world!

Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane on the 90s TV show, Lois & Clark, now plays the deceased mother of Smallville's Lois, played by Erica Durance.

Although she inhabited Lois Lane herself in the 90s, Teri Hatcher is guest-starring on Smallville as the iconic character's mother.

In episode 8, titled Abandoned, Lois Lane (played by Erica Durance) stumbles upon old videotapes of her mother, which leads to some inneresting information.

Love that she can revisit Superman after being a Desperate Housewife!

Is it just us, or is Christina Hendricks the PERFECT choice for Lois Lane?

DC is releasing an animated direct-to-dvd Superman movie, All-Star Superman, which will feature the voice talent of Mad Men's Christina Hendricks as Lois Lane.

The other inneresting aspect of this movie is that it's more of a fun, upbeat superhero flick, as opposed to the dark, grim superhero movies that have been released lately, such as The Dark Knight.

Doesn't look like this is going to start a new trend, but it's a nice change of pace…especially for a movie geared towards kids.

Dark or light, we're loving the choice of voice talent for Lois Lane! We'd love to see her brought back for the next live-action Superman movie as well!
