Exes Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have done a lot to mend their relationship…something we're sure their two daughters appreciate.

Not only are they now on friendly terms, but they hang out with each other and even went on holiday TOGETHER with their girls last month.

Calling it their "modern family," Denise describes that she and Charlie are so close now, they're practically "brother and sister":

A changed man, for sure!

Charlie Sheen and his "modern family," consisting of ex-wife Denise Richards, their two daughters Lola and Sam, and Denise's adopted daughter Eloise, are taking a holiday vacation together.

The fam have been doing fun family activities together like fishing and eating delicious seafood. But things got even MORE fun when Charlie, Denise, and their girls went swimming with the dolphins that included a very special one named Nuna (above).

Aw, that's really endearing, actually. We're proud of Charlie for taking his responsibilities as a parent seriously. You know what, this is a side of him that we really like.

It looks like 2012 will bring a new, reformed Charlie, which means good riddance to that warlock/Tiger's blood/winning guy. He sucked.

Denise Richards and her two oldest daughters, Sam and Lola had a fun day out as they attended a birthday party at a pizza parlor in Calabasas, California, then stopped into a Barnes and Noble and purchased a few books.

The big question is: Where's Eloise??

Must be back home with the nanny or maybe staying with Denise's dad? This was a big girls' day out, which makes it a little extra special! We're sure Sam and Lola appreciated the bonding time with their momma.

Denise Richards and her girls, Sam, Lola, and baby Eloise helped celebrate the launch of the new web reality series Animal Movers, which follows the guys at Pacific Pet Transport as they move the pets of celebs.

The ladies had a fun-filled afternoon where they got up close with goats, llamas, miniature horses and even creepy crawlies like snakes.

That's really cool if the girls were brave to want to touch the snakes! Don't know if we'd feel the same way.

Have we gone back in time? This isn't a sight we normally see: exes Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen GETTING ALONG.

Denise and Charlie reunited with a friendly gathering as the two met up to cheer on their girls Sam and Lola at their soccer game in Calabasas, California.

The two were all smiles as they sat next to each other and looked like they had a small picnic while they watched the game.

Good for Charlie for finally being mature and getting along with his ex for the sake of their children. It seems like he's finally in a good place.

Denise Richards spent the day in the sun at a local soccer game with her three daughters Sam, Lola, and baby Eloise.

Things were going great until something on the soccer field did NOT make mommy and daughters too happy. Even Eloise expressed her anger!
