beyonce knowles photos concert ban npaa letter condemnation first amendment

Angry photographers have a bone to pick with Queen Bey, and we aren't referring to slighted paparazzi!!

Beyoncé recently denied all photographers press passes for the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour because she doesn't want them taking pics of her at the concerts.

The singer's public relations team instead insists that press use pre-authorized pics of the her in their publications!

Of course, journalists are protective of their First Amendment rights so now they're pissed off!

The National Press Photographer's Association, backed by heavyweight papers like the L.A. Times the New York Daily News, wrote an angry letter to the masterful musician's PR team saying as much!

They believe Bey is only hurting her image by

Avengers Overrated 2012

Ouch!

For a movie that ruled the box office in 2012, fans were apparently not happy with what they paid for.

The Avengers was determined to be the most overrated film of 2012 in a Los Angeles Times poll of people who don’t like to have fun more than 2,600 people.

The film garnered 85% of the vote with the second most overrated movie, Prometheus, coming in far behind with only 5%.

Did these people not like Scarlett Johansson in a tight catsuit? Or were they hating on Chris Hemsworth’s sexxxy hotness?

Maybe it was just director Joss Whedon voting over and over? Whatever the case may be, we do NOT agree!

While we ponder that, we’ll flip things around and reveal

Quote Of The Day

quote-of-the-day-jonathan-groff

"Ultimately everyone has their own journey. The more people that come out the better, because it makes it easier for the next generation of people coming out, and it makes [straight] people more comfortable with it, the more people they know. But at the end of the day, if people don't want to come out, it's their personal choice. I feel really blessed to be living in 2012. Certainly there's a long way to go, but I feel really positive about how, even in the last 10 years, being gay has become more accepted."

So Who Is Over - AND UNDER - Paid In Hollywood?!

hollywood-wages-value-vs-viewership

Uh-oh! Some of these folks are NOT going to appreciate hearing this!

A new report has calculated the amount of money various TV personalities are paid per viewer - by dividing their annual income by the average number of people tuning into them. And we don't know about you, but we were VERY surprised by some of the results!

For example, Keith Olbermann was the worst offender, as

animals_in_films-web.jpgVariety and The Hollywood Reporter say no thanks but the L.A. Times wants to help out the cause!

Parents Television Council Doesn't Think Glee Is Family Friendly!

WHAT?

A parental advocacy group, the Parents Television Council, is upset that the Los Angeles Times deemed Glee as "family-friendly" programming! Melissa Henson, the PTC's Director of Communications and Public Education says:

"There seems to be a big difference in what Hollywood will put out there as family friendly entertainment, or tell us is family friendly entertainment, and how it is actually perceived by the rest of the country.

"Very few of our members would feel comfortable allowing their children to watch most of the programs that were cited in that article as being evidence that the networks are turning back the clocks and introducing more family friendly programs.”

Other programs under attack were Cougar Town and Two and a Half Men.

The PTC is angered with Glee because of the "sexual themes" involving high school students, recreational drug use and the lying and manipulation that takes place in the plot.

But times have changed people! It's not all Happy Days and The Andy Griffith Show anymore, so we think Glee and other shows deal with the issues of present day pretty well!

What do U think?
