Standardized testing is a big deal in New York public schools.
Every student, from third grade on, has to undergo a standardized test each year, and it can decide where some students go to high school and even middle school.
The standards of these standardized tests are implemented by the Common Core which its website defines as "a set of clear college- and career-ready standards for kindergarten through 12th grade in English language arts/literacy and mathematics".
But the people's champion Louis C.K. thinks it's all a bunch of bullsh*t, and is also the reason why math now makes his daughters cry!
