First stripes now this!?
Louis Vuitton's S/S 2013 collection was so dramatically squared that we almost thought we were back in the 1960s, and we can thank Marc Jacobs for the time travel!!
The designer's Paris show was inspired by the sixties and artist Daniel Buren's Les Deux Plateaux, which is installation art that can be seen at the courtyard of the Palais Royal.
Once the models hit the brilliantly pattered runway via escalators, it was checkerboard patterns as far as the eye could see!
And even though Mr. Jacobs thoroughly followed his checkered theme, he added some spice into the line with florals and kept the bags simple and fabulous.
Overall, the show was a picture perfect mosaic that brought mod back into style!!
