He's an X Factor legend, that man!!

When Simon Cowell brought Louis Walsh on at the very beginning, in 2004, the world knew he was something special.

Luckily for the business, he still thinks X Factor is something special over there across the pond!!

Enthusiastically, Louis broke the news of his Season 9 return like this:

It would be the end of an era!

But what does he care? He's got the U.S. one now to occupy his time!

Although Simon Cowell has high hopes that he can get another year out of the X Factor UK with the current line-up of judges - Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh - he's apparently ready to put the axe in the series after that, so he can launch a new project in 2013!

It's official! Louis Walsh has been cleared of sexual assault charges!

The man who accused him of fondling privates in da club, Leonard Watters, confessed in court today that he's a big fat liar.

Picture above we see him exiting the same courthouse he's due back in for sentencing come early January.

We're so happy the UK X Factor judge isn't a perverted nightclub creeper after all!

Choose wisely, Kelly Rowland!

We've JUST learned that this weekend, four out of the sixteen finalists on X Factor UK will be eliminated! Wowsa!

The finalists will each get one chance to convince Kelly and the other judges that they deserve to move forward.

Here's what judge Gary Barlow had to say about it:

We really have no idea what to make of any of these contestants, but we have to admit…WE LIKE THEM!

Check out some of the more offbeat performers who have continued on past the bootcamp portion of the X Factor UK, and are now in the Judges' House, including Johnny Robinson covering Love Is A Losing Game by Amy Winehouse, and Kitty Brucknell performing Kelly Clarkson's Beautiful Disaster, both for Louis Walsh and Sinitta, while Essex girls Charley and Lucy (2 Shoes) put QUITE the spin on Tik Tok by Ke$ha for Tulisa and Jessie J (above)!

Each and every one of them has their own little breed of wacky, right?

Or just straight up crazy for some! But you cannot deny they've got talent!

We'll be very innerested to see if any of them continue on!

We're not sure that she has the star power that some of the other contestants have already shown, but wow, is her voice out of this world!

And she's absolutely lovely, isn't she?! Such a sweetheart!

She'll definitely have her work cut out for her, but if Louis thinks she can put in 100%, we're excited to see where she'll go!
