Don't feel bad about unwinding after a hard day's work with a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail (key is "a", not five) because research has found that "light-to-moderate alcohol consumption was associated with a lower risk of total stroke."

Although the health benefits of consuming moderate alcohol have been associated with lowering the risk of heart disease

Joe Jonas Has Shockingly Low Album Sales

joe-jonas-low-record-sales.jpg

Troubling times for Mr. Joe Jonas.

His first solo album Fastlife has not had the success that everyone was hoping for. In fact, his album sales are shockingly low.

When his brother Nick released HIS solo album, sales reached close to 90,000 in its first week so naturally, everyone thought Joe could have the same success.

Not even close. The album sold

John Stamos Goes Indie, Stars In New Music Video

Filed under: John StamosMusic MinuteSad SadPerezTV

Way to get depressing on us, Stamos!

Check out Minnesota-based indie rock group Low's Try to Sleep music video (above) which stars the one and only Uncle Jesse Dr. Carl Howell John Stamos!

Why is Mr. Stamos in a music video for a Minnesota-based indie band, you might ask?

Here's John on why he took on this role:

"I'm actually good friends with their producer Matt Beckley, and he had played me some of the record while they were making it. When it came time for them to cast the video, they asked if I'd like to be involved. I liked the concept. The new record is on all the time at my place."

We like the concept too, John…although it's pretty sad stuff. The end of that video almost got us as teary-eyed as the series finale of Full House. Keyword = ALMOST.

What do U think of John Stamos' performance in this music video?

Uh-Oh! January Jones Claims To Not Make Much Money On Mad Men!

january-jones-does-not-make-much-money-on-mad-men

These are some pretty bold statements, especially considering the turmoil this show is currently in!

Despite her character on Mad Men pretty much being useless last season, January Jones recently spoke out against the series that made her famous, and claims that she doesn't make very much money for her work portraying Betty Draper!

She explains:

"Financially, we don’t get paid very much on the show and that’s well-documented. On the other hand, when you do television you have a steady paycheck each week, so that’s nice."

We imagine that you get paid PRETTY well, gurl, so we caution you to try to avoid biting the hand that feeds you!

Especially now! There have been rumblings that people may be written out of the show next season!

What do U think?? Was January out of line?

February Sweep Numbers Are In! How'd Regis And Oprah Do For Their Last Year?

february-sweep-talk-show-ratings

And right before they retire?! Too bad!

February sweeps has once again come to a close, and while many daytime talk shows have improved their ratings since the November quarter - Maury up 5% to 2.1, Ellen 4% to 2.4, and Rachael Ray up 6% to 1.7 - both Oprah Winfrey and Regis Philbin remained flat, having not improved despite their show's respectively pulling in a 5.6 and 2.8!

Oh well! They're still beating everyone else, so we doubt they're too concerned!

Keep it up, guys! Go out with a bang!

Royal Wedding Fever Gets Off To A Slow Start!

magazines-featuring-royal-engagement-dont-sell-well

Maybe Royal Wedding fever just hasn't hit the majority of the masses!

Despite Kate Middleton and Prince William's engagement being the cover story of People, Us Weekly, Star and OK! magazines, their sales were much lower than anticipated!

While People sold 1.3 to 1.4 million copies, Star only got 430,000, Us Weekly 620,000, and OK! 300,000 sales!

OK! Editor-In-Chief Richard Spencer explains:

"There were great predictions on how huge it was going to be, but it didn't happen."

Give it time, we say! The world needs to see more Kate before the fever sets in, and April is still months away!

We guess we just got struck down with it early! And we're certainly not complaining!

LOVE royal weddings!
