Despite what you might have heard in tabloids, actress Tisha Campbell-Martin not dying from the lung disease.

The My Wife And Kids star wants fans to know she very alive.

"Thank you, everyone, for your concern. However, no worry is needed. I was diagnosed with a lung disorder that some people walk around with and don’t even know they have. Through early diagnosis I'm happy to share that I stay healthy with diet and exercise."

Good to hear!

The mother of two was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, nearly ten years ago.

In case you needed another reason to stop smoking cigarettes, a recent study revealed that people who smoke cigarettes and pot increase their risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) almost threefold.

Oh, and there’s no known cure for this disease.

An interesting finding in the study was that smoking pot but not cigarettes doesn’t seem to affect someone’s chances of contracting COPD (although researchers say the study wasn’t comprehensive enough to make a definite conclusion on that).

The researchers recommended that anti-smoking campaigns should be re-tooled to include the results of this study.

Said lead researcher Dr. Wan Tan, of the University of British Columbia:

“Anti-smoking campaigns should include a reduction in marijuana use among their goals, aiming especially at those who smoke both marijuana and tobacco.”

The bottom line is this: If you smoke either substance, quit immediately! If live in a state where medical marijuana is legal and have been prescribed it by a credible doctor, find other ways to ingest it other than smoking it!!

One of the biggest agents in the business has passed away this weekend.

Ed Limato, who repped such high-profile Hollywood players like Diana Ross, Denzel Washington and Mel Gibson, died July 3 of lung disease at his Beverly Hills home. He was 73.

Our condolences go out to his family, friends and clients who will surely miss him.
