Quickfit Tip Of The Day

Pink

Add side lunges to your routine to change it up and challenge your body in the frontal plane. This will target the outside of your thighs and help build knee stability.

QuickFit Tip Of The Day

white blue

Besides squats, lunges are my favorite thing to do for a great butt work out. It is also great for your hamstrings and glutes.

Stand straight, keep your hands on your hips. lunge forward and lower your body down, the lower you go the better it is for your butt.

Remember to keep your back straight . Stand back and switch off to other legs, and repeat. I try to do 2 reps of 10 each.

How Beyonce Got Her Post-Pregnancy Body Back

how beyonce got his body back

Beyonce is lookin' GOOD since pushing Blue Ivy Carter out and into the world four months ago, so how the heck did she do it?

As we mentioned, Bey is doing LOTS of working out with her live-in trainer Marco Borges AND a "sensible" diet! But, now, the trainer recently shared some new deets about how he helped Jay-Z's wife get back her famous figure:

"We do cardio and plyometric moves like lunges and jumps on and off a bench."

We're sure that helped and all, but it sounds like her diet is what really melted away the excess pounds. She got rid of processed foods and ate whole foods like veggies and grilled meat. We heard in the past that she also ate six small, high-protein meals a day, instead of three big ones.

Sure, Beyonce had an expensive trainer helping her lose all that weight, but the principals behind Borges strategy are VERY simple. Listen to this advice:

"You don't have to eat only celery sticks. Be sensible and exercise constantly."

We've said it again and again, but the only way to lose weight is to adjust your diet and exercise regimen!

There are a lot of support systems out there that you can pay for OR you can do exactly what Beyonce did for free!

Exercise often and eat whole foods that are in their natural state. Just because a box of Reese's Puffs says the sugary cereal is "high in calcium" or "made with whole grains," it doesn't mean they are good for U!
