Country music just lost one of its biggest stars today as the iconic George Jones passed away earlier this morning.

The legendary singer was 81 years old when his lungs finally gave out on him.

Why don't we all just agree, as a planet, that tanning isn't worth it.

As it turns out, the active ingredient in spray tanning, DHA, is harmful!

It has the potential to cause genetic alterations and DNA damage — two things that you do NOT want to happen. That tan is just not worth it.

Besides, what's wrong with fair skin??

Here's what one doctor said:

"I have concerns. The reason I'm concerned is the deposition of the tanning agents into the lungs could really facilitate or aid systemic absorption — that is, getting into the bloodstream."

More tests need to be done, though.

He went on:

"These compounds in some cells could actually promote the development of cancers or malignancies and if that's the case then we need to be wary of them."

If you MUST do this, make sure you're wearing proper protective gear.

But honestly, you should probably just not do it.

It's not worth it!

This is a GREAT sign!

Aimee Copeland is reportedly breathing on her own after multiple amputations caused by necrotizing fasciitis, a rare flesh eating disease!

Before she had been hooked up to a respirator machine, unable to do her own breathing.

Her father, Andy, has tried to remain positive after her hands were amputated last Thursday… that's when she was actually able to mouth words to them.

What did she say?

"The power of love is undeniable."

That's an incredible thing to say, especially in her situation!

She now has to be focused on taking each breath on her own, which will help her lungs recover!

We're so happy to hear all of this — and we hope that she continues her recovery!
