It's Over! Real Housewives Of D.C. Has Been Canceled!

real housewives of dc canceled

Be careful what you wish for, Housewives!

Back in October, the Real Housewives of D.C. were fed up with the Salahi's, and Housewife Lynda Erkiletian said that if the Salahi's come back, she'd walk from the show.

Looks like she won't have to worry about it, because the Real Housewives of D.C. has been canceled.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

“The show just didn’t do well and it wasn’t worth airing another season."

“The DC housewives were meant to be starting shooting their second season now and they haven’t heard a peep from Bravo."

“No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is canceled.”

More from the source:

“After D.C. failed in the ratings and Miami just bombed, they realized they can’t just start a show anywhere and it will succeed."

“Bravo used to think it was about the brand and they could switch the housewives at any point but now they have realized it is about the women involved and that has changed their perspective."

“They’ve realized a lot with the failure of D.C. and Miami, and they’re going to concentrate on the successful shows they have and not expand any further."

Andy Cohen has made it official that there will be no more new Housewives franchises.”

This doesn't surprise us at all, especially after hearing earlier this month that Miami would be the last city for Housewives.

Will U miss the Real Housewives of D.C.?

Real Housewives Threaten To Walk If Salahi's Return For Another Season!

Yeah, we think it's safe to say good-bye to those Wack-a-doo Salahi's!

We reported earlier that Bravo had just about enough of the couple - who are featured on the Real Housewives of D.C. and most notorious for allegedly crashing the White House State Dinner - and had axed them from appearing in season two!

Now, Housewife Lynda Erkiletian is putting her foot down on behalf of her fellow castmembers, and says that if the Salahi's come back, she is walking!

She explains:

"I don't think anybody would do a show with Michaele. I don't think anybody would voluntarily associate themselves ever again. I've never seen a White House invitation by email, but all things are possible in Salahi world. I don't think that we'll ever be in the same social circle. I'm not looking down on them, I just don't think they can necessarily afford to buy the tickets."

Something tells us, however, that Bravo isn't going to have an issue with Lynda's ultimatum! Michaele and Tareq have pretty much burned their bridges with everyone ever the network!

We guess there is such a thing as too crazy for reality television!

What do U think?? Would U watch The Real Housewives of D.C. without Michaele??

Once A White House Party Crasher….

Always a White House party crasher! At least, according to one of the Real Housewives of Washington D.C.!

As we mentioned before, Tareq and Michaele Salahi of the Bravo show have had their lawyers send out a threatening email, insisting they will sue if anyone on the show uses the "defamatory" phrase "White House party crashers" again.

Lynda Erkiletian, one of Salahi's cast mates, refuses to oblige, demanding to see an invitation to prove their innocence. Until then, Lynda will continue to refer to them as the WHPC, but to make things easier, she'll throw in an "alleged" and air quotes!

Ha! Girls got sass!

Michaele Salahi Skips Housewives Premiere

Much to her fellow housewives' delight!

Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq skipped the premiere party last night for The Real Housewives of DC and it appears their presence was NOT missed.

Catherine Ommanney commented, "I don't want to see them; I don't want to talk to them. I don't want to be associated with them." And when asked if she'd do another season with Michaele she responded:

"Absolutely, categorically, no. I'll have to have therapy the rest of my life to get over being associated with her."

Another housewife Lynda Erkiletian added:

"I was very happy to hear that they had their own premiere party and would be attending that and not torturing us any more than they have in the past."

Wowsa! They really can't stand this broad! Mary Schmidt Amons also contributed in the Salahi slamming:

"I've really have had enough. The last two days have been a challenge, just to deal with the trauma of The View, overall."I don’t think the Salahis are really good at saying they’re sorry to anyone. It’s not my place to judge.

"All I know is that the accusations coming forward from the Salahi camp are completely false. It was on camera, a 200-person audience — Whoopi was just trying to encourage her to get back on task to the question, just get back to the question and answer the question.

"Our drama is smart, sophisticated, interesting and funny. It’s not table flipping and hair-pulling. I don’t want to judge them. They have to own their behavior and actions. I think [Salahi] just has to be herself. I want her to take control and be herself. And that’s all I’ll say."

Oh, please, honey!

Drama is DRAMA!
