You never know who is going to show up in a Robert Rodriguez movie, but even this came as a bit of a surprise!

Fresh off of the heels of his latest controversy, Mel Gibson is reportedly in serious talks to be featured in a supporting role in the director's upcoming sequel to his Grindhouse-short-turned-movie, Machete, called Machete Kills!

It's been seven years, but Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are FINALLY gearing up for a sequel to the 2005 hit, Sin City.

In a recent interview, the director revealed that financial difficulties from the Weinstein Company and scheduling conflicts have been delaying the movie that has been in the works for years. Fortunately for the fans of the movie, he plans on shooting Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For immediately after he films the sequel to Machete. Here is what he said about his upcoming production:

Well, they are certainly wasting no time with this flick's promotional material now that it's being financed!

We've been waiting for this for a looonng time!

Danny Trejo gets to dust off his machete and knives and he will be returning for Machete Kills.

Director Robert Rodriguez will partner with Alexander Rodnyasky to finance the film. Rodriguez hopes he can start production in April.

With the script already written, Machete will be hired by the U.S. government to stop a Mexican drug lord and billionaire trying to launch a weapon in space.

Those who survived the first flick are also expected to return for the second.

Are U excited about Machete Kills as much as we are?!

There is one pissed off actress/writer out there!! Let's just hope she doesn't take a page out of her own (alleged) story, because the gurl knows revenge!! Ha!

Yvonne Delarosa has filed a lawsuit against Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis over their movie Machete, which, if you haven't seen it, is about a man out for revenge that uses a machete. Not exactly shakespeare, but hey, it got the job done.

Either way, she's claiming Maniquis solicited her for ideas in 2005 for a movie

And people think the internet is evil.. pshhh..

Meet Omari (above, obvs). His mother cares for 25 orphans at an orphanage in Kenya.

When a gang of thugs decided to creep on up to attack the place, Omari acted as their white knight, protecting them from the evils of the world.

Unfortunately, he got a boo boo in the fight. They sliced his face open with a machete. As you can see in the photo though, he is well on his way to recovery thanks to some awesome doctors with stitches.

Even more unfortunate is the fact that gang attacks are very common, and Omari feared it wouldn't be his last.

So what does the internet do? It posts a pic of Omari and the story to ask for donations. If they can just build a strong enough wall around the land, they could live in peace.

They needed $2,000. They got $65,000.

Wow. We are in awe. It's so wonderful knowing how compassionate the power of the internet can be.

Omari and the children will use the extra money for food and supplies. We think they might just be the richest orphanage in Kenya now,

Wouldn't it be cool if they bought walls for other orphanages too??
