While everyone loves seeing beautiful actresses and their Hollywood good looks on the front of magazines, the models want them back, and Naomi Campbell is leading the charge!
The supermodel was recently asked about the issue, and didn’t hold back, saying:
"Of course, we want the magazine covers back. Of course, we do. There are less covers for the girls out there who are the new, young, trendy girls. She’s got more to compete with and there are only a certain amount of covers they’re going to give a model a year. Before, you had models twelve months a year."
And now, with the exception of Kate Moss and the occasional up and coming model, it's the complete opposite.
How times have changed!
Keep on fighting the good fight, Naomi!

Fashion Star's Nicole Richie stepped on the scene to celebrate her Ocean Drive cover at The Shelborne Hotel in Miami yesterday.
Nicole donned a nude dress from the Todd Lynn S/S 2011 collection and finished off the look with suede Christian Louboutin heels, and a House of Harlow 1960 clutch.
We love Nicole, and we love the dress, but something about the fit makes us wonder about the total look… do we love IT??!!
Check out additional pics of the covergirl (below)!

Black Swan beauty Mila Kunis graces the April cover of Harper's Bazaar looking oh so pretty in a pink Versace dress.
For the April issue Mila reunited with photographer Terry Richardson, who shot her best-selling GQ cover, and the pictures are gorge!
Of course, Uncle Terry can't take all the credit.
Bazaar's fashion editor Julia Von Boehm did a fantastic job of styling Miz Kunis for the carousel shoot in pieces from Christian Dior (obvi), Chanel, Roberto Cavalli and more.
Loves it!
Check out the rest of Mila's shoot in the gallery (below)!

"I wouldn’t mind if these A-, B-, C- and D-list 'celebrities' only got the covers. As we all know, covers don’t pay the rent!"

Oh Gemma Ward, how we’ve missed you!
The 23-year-old has put those retirement rumors to rest and is once again back on magazine covers.
Ward was photographed by Peter Ash Lee for the cover of a supplement to the Australian Harper’s Bazaar.
The issue, called Talking Points, shows a glowing Gemma with minimal makeup or hair product.
There’s something so simplistic about the look that we’re loving.
Welcome back to modeling bb! We know movies are fun, but hopefully we’ll see more of her in upcoming features.

Lady GaGa can sell pretty much about anything, and that includes magazine covers.
According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, our GaGaloo held the highest number for newsstand sales in 2010 for monthly and biweekly magazines.
In fact, her machine-gun inspired cover for Rolling Stone’s July issue was the top selling issue the magazine had the entire year, selling over 245,000 copies.
That’s three times higher than Rolling Stone’s 2010 average!
And her Cosmopolitan April issue sold over 1.7 million copies, becoming their best seller through the end of October!
GaGa also broke numbers from her Vanity Fair and Elle covers.
Amazing!
Here’s to hoping we see a lot more of GaGa in 2011!

It's been a fabulous year in magazine, which is why we made a gallery remembering the good, the bad photoshopping, the gorgeous and questionable covers from 2010.
