"Best accident ever!" said the drug addicts in Ireland, because today, their government accidentally legalized some random drugs for a day.
Ecstasy, ketamine, magic mushrooms, and lots of other drugs were made legal when the court appealed the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977, finding it unconstitutional. Now, the lawmakers in the Dail are working around the clock to pass emergency legislation to re-do some of what was undone.

If it is passed today, then the Seanad will vote tomorrow, and the drugs will again be illegal. However, the sale or supply of any of these drugs is still totally illegal throughout all of this.
We're sure that the Irish government will get this cleaned up as quickly as possible.
Until then — everyone should just be responsible!

Well this doesn't happen every day!
A man in Florida was arrested when wildlife officials caught him and four friends walking through the woods, picking magic mushrooms.
It wasn't some secret shroom farm or anything, they naturally grow in the woods.
The group was stopped for picking the mushrooms but after a search, officers found a two-foot alligator inside the man's backpack!

Remember all those anti-drug PSA's where a seedy drug dealer offers a teengager drugs then claims "all the cool kids do it"?
Turns out that seedy drug dealer was onto something! As long as he's selling psychedelics, at least.
Scientists working with the hallucinogen psilocybin — the active ingredient found in "magic mushrooms" — have found a single "moderate to high" dose of the drug prompted a long lasting and positive personality change in almost 60% of the 51 patients tested.
In short, one trip and you have a 60% chance to be an infinitely cooler person for the rest of your life!
That also means, however, you have a 40% chance of accessing the deep, dark recesses of your mind you were never supposed to access in the first place and THUS, go mentally insane. LOLz!

Good news for hippies!!
Scientists at Johns Hopkins university studying the effects of psilocybin (the ingredient in magic mushrooms that make you “trip”) say that they’ve found a “sweet spot” dosage for the drug that will give users the most gratifying experience.
There has already been research done showing that magic mushrooms can be used to treat anxiety and depression, but it wasn’t until now that we knew how much is the right amount to give someone.
The researchers did not release what the dosage was, but they did report that 94% of participants described their mushroom trips as "one of the top five most spiritually significant experiences of their lifetimes," and 89% told researchers that they'd noticed "lasting, positive changes in their behavior."
