This is so scary.

Jose Reyes, a shortstop for the Colorado Rockies, was busted for domestic abuse in Maui, Hawaii, according to news reports.

Police say they arrested the MLB star on Halloween after he assaulted his wife, Katherine Ramirez, while the couple were on vacation on the island of Maui.

Apparently, Reyes grabbed his wife by the throat during an argument and threw her into a sliding glass balcony door in the couple's hotel room at the Four Seasons Hotel. Ramirez was taken to the hospital as a result of her injuries.

Several Major League Baseball teams have a tradition of hazing their rookie players every year by forcing them to dress up as women for team flights, and now, a powerful LGBT group aligned with pro athletes is calling on that tradition to stop!

Players on the teams — which include the Oakland Athletics, Miami Marlins, Chicago Cubs, and many others — contend that the event is harmless fun designed to lightly haze rookies while promoting team bonding.

Athlete Ally, the LGBT group, sees it differently, and they are worried the cross-dressing players are sending the wrong message to kids.
