Madonna Hides Behind Her Sunglasses & Runs Errands In NYC Post-Malawi Press!

Ever the fashion icon.

Madonna was spotted in New York City yesterday donning an all-black outfit as she looked to be on her way to work. Perhaps it had something to do with her recent Malawi kerfuffle!

We’re not entirely sure how we feel about those Adidas wedge boots or the knee-length harem pants, but something about this ensemble feels more like a costume than a usual daily getup. How fitting!

Either way, this fifty-four year old looks AH-mazing and ready to tackle some important work with the stack of papers and blackberry in hand.

Show ‘em how it’s done, Madge! You might even add a few more $$$ to your billionaire status.

madonna want so badly to be good gif

Goodness! Who knew all this drama could come from just wanting to help a nation out!

As you know, Madonna has been facing heat throughout her whole trip to Malawi. From terminology arguments to presidential rejections, Madge just couldn't catch a break.

And all she was wanting to do was help!

Unfortunately, she and her entourage (which included her four children) would experience one more incident of dramz before leaving the "warm heart of Africa."

According to reports, she and hers were allegedly denied expedited travel privileges, requiring them to line up alongside other passengers and get frisked at the airport.

The situation resulted in a statement from the office of Malawi President Joyce Banda — someone whose feathers were already ruffled by Madge's visit.

The statement declares:

Madonna Gets Rejected After Sending Malawi President Informal & Error-Filled Letter

madonna malawi president insult

She will always be the goddess of our universe, but just because you’re Madonna doesn’t mean you’re REALLY the queen …especially when it comes to politics!

You see, the queen of pop might have crossed a few lines while she was visiting Malawi during a goodwill trip when writing to request a meeting with their President.

For starters, Madge addressed President Joyce Banda as "Dear Joyce."

And no, they're not old buddies.

While this informality might seem minor to some, she continues by simply congratulating her on her "new position," an action many feel was a sign of stunted respect as President Banda is the FIRST female leader in the nation.

The always-changing singer went on to misspell responsibility as she wrote "responsability."

Long story short, she eventually requested a little visit which was shot down as the President was too busy to vogue meet. Uh oh…

An insider revealed Madge’s request:

Madonna RESPONDS To Malawi Controversy: "My Reasons For Being Here Have NEVER Changed!"

Yes! We're so glad she's finally speaking up!

Such a SHAME that her tireless and incredible efforts are being called into question!

You may have heard of some of the controversy surrounding Madonna's latest trip to Malawi, as the Education Minister Eunice Kazembe recently claimed that they had not been consulted regarding possible discrepancies over if the pop superstar and the organization BuildOn where supposed to build ten new schools or classrooms for the impoverished country!

Thankfully, Her Madgesty, who also brought her adopted children David and Mercy with her to visit their birthplace, recently made a statement on her fifth day there, outside the Consol Homes Orphan Care Centre outside the capital city Lilongwe, which reaffirmed how deeply she cares for the country's children, and how all of her efforts are for them, first and foremost!

Ch-ch-check out her words of inspiration (above)!

Madonna's Malawi "Schools" Causing Drama!

madonna malawi school scandal

WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY?!

Queen Madonna is currently in Malawi visiting the ten "schools" that she helped build with an organization called BuildOn, but it seems that there is a discrepancy over WHAT type of educational construction Madonna actually put in place!

Originally, Her Madgesty had reportedly planned on creating a multi-million dollar girls academy, but then instead decided to invest in ten "school" blocks.

BUT, are these buildings actually SCHOOLS?!

Not according to Malawi's Education Minister Eunice Kazembe!

Kazembe recently stated:
