It's almost hard to believe it was only October when the flood of sexual harassment and assault allegations came to light, but for the mom of two, it's something she's still coming to terms with.

Recalling canceling the Marchesa Fall 2018 collection runway show after the scandal broke, Georgina confessed:

"We didn't feel it was appropriate given the situation. All the women who have been hurt deserve dignity and respect, so I want to give it the time it deserves. It's a time for mourning, really. A lot of people reached out and said, 'Let me wear something.'"

As you may have seen, Scarlett Johansson picked a Marchesa gown to wear to Monday's Met Gala.

But it seems it wasn't only her fashion label that went into mourning. Georgina added she hadn't stepped out for five months post-scandal:

Scarlett Johansson Defends Her Controversial Choice To Wear Marchesa At The Met Gala

ICYMI, Scarlett Johansson wore Marchesa to the 2018 Met Gala.

Yes, Marchesa. That Marchesa. The same Marchesa led by Georgina Chapman, the estranged wife of accused sexual predator Harvey Weinstein. Since fans hadn't seen a look from the label on a red carpet ever since the exposé on Weinstein came out, ScarJo's choice came across as a bold statement.

Well, guess what. Colin Jost's lady has a statement, alright!

Scarlett Johansson Makes A Misstatement In Marchesa At The 2018 Met Gala!

no title

We love how happy Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are looking as they make their relationship official!

Our red carpet love for the couple has to end there though…

We're going to guess that hair is to film an upcoming role (she had been rocking that blonde pixie cut until very recently), but it is just not working for her.

Scarlett's florally adorned ombre marsala dress is cute, but you'd need a time machine to pull it off. Not only is it literally the color of three years ago, it's also a Marchesa — something we haven't seen on the carpet much lately since the company is owned by Harvey Weinstein's ex, Georgina Chapman.

Not only that, it isn't on theme at all for this year's Met Gala — unless it was stained with communion wine or something!

What kind of statement is the Time's Up advocate trying to make here anyway??

Georgina Chapman and Harvey Weinstein

Calling it off.

Harvey Weinstein's estranged wife Georgina Chapman has decided not to put on her brand Marchesa's previously scheduled runway show at New York Fashion Week in just a matter of two weeks. Instead, we're hearing the high-end label will release a digital presentation at a later time.

A spokesperson for the company said:

"Marchesa is looking forward to presenting their Fall 18 collection in an updated format this season."

The New York Post reports the 41-year-old clothing designer "couldn't go through" with the traditional show (scheduled for February 14, no less) because "she was too scared." We can't blame her.

In a since-deleted tweet, the Charmed actress — who has publicly accused the mogul of rape — says Streep "happily" worked for Weinstein and stayed "silent" about his alleged abuses for years. Rose wrote:

"Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @goldenglobes in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You'll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real chance. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa."

On Monday, the 68-year-old released a statement to HuffPost via publicist Leslee Dart where she says she truly "did not know about Weinstein's crimes," and that McGowan "assumed and broadcast something untrue about me."

As we wrote in October, the Oscar winner said she "didn't know about [Weinstein's] offenses" in a previous comment to HuffPost.

As we reported, Rose McGowan recently called out Meryl Streep and other actresses planning to wear black to the Golden Globes in silent protest to gender inequality and sexual harassment. The Harvey Weinstein accuser pointed out the 'hypocrisy' of the movement, saying the gowns would 'affect no real change' in a biting tweet.

Amber Tamblyn has now publicly (and privately) responded in disapproval to McGowan's criticism of the Hollywood actresses trying to make a difference.
