Well, okay, those boys still have a long way to go to match your 39+ million followers, but they're still DAYUM huge on Twitter.

After announcing their new world tour plans, Twitter went as wild as Prince Harry would in Las Vegas!

In fact, it went so wild, there were more tweets about the tour than there were about Margaret Thatcher's death.

Twitter can be a scary, scary place!

And that’s just what Geri Halliwell found out this week.

The former Spice Girl took to Twitter as Margaret Thatcher passed away and tried her best to express her feelings about the sad moment.

Unfortunately, her post got some seriously harsh feedback.

She had tweeted:

“Thinking of our 1st Lady of girl power, Margaret Thatcher, a green grocer's daughter who taught me any thing is possible…x.”

We’re not sure what people tweeted to Ginger Spice after it went up, but it was bad enough that she deleted her message!

And now, she’s totes regretting the change as she posted a message on her site:

Margaret Thatcher was a polarizing figure, and people STILL either love her or hate her even after she's passed. She did help pave the way for women in politics, though!

On the flip side, there are people that can never forget that she was called The Iron Lady for a reason. If we made a list of those people, we'd be willing to bet that singer Morrissey would add his own name RIGHT AT THE TOP!

Morrissey just put the former Prime Minister on blast, calling her barbaric! Here's what he said:

After winning an Oscar for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, Meryl Streep is speaking out in remembrance of the late British Prime Minister.

Although they hardly interacted, the actress says she admires Thatcher and the immeasurable impact she had on role of women in politics:

Margaret Thatcher, one of Britain's most controversial Prime Ministers, has sadly passed after suffering a stroke.

She was 87.

Her spokesperson said in a statement:

"It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning."

Regardless of what people may have thought of her post-War policies, she was a force to be reckoned with, and will be missed.

May she find peace.

Uh oh!

Meryl Streep is taking some heat from the actual Iron Lady's closest companions.

The actress won her third Oscar (with fourteen OTHER nominations!) Sunday and she thanked her husband and makeup artist (for an award she felt guilty of winning).

But not Margaret Thatcher.

Lord Norman Tebbit, a political ally to Thatcher, stated that he wasn't surprised that Meryl forgot to honor the former prime minister.

Tebbit stated that "the film was about Meryl Streep, not Lady Thatcher" and if Thatcher acted like her movie's portrayal, she wouldn't have lasted very long in office.

To be exact, the Lord said Thatcher wouldn't have lasted six months!

This compounds The Iron Lady's earlier criticism for focusing on Lady Thatcher's dementia, not her politics.
