WOW!!!

The shot, rumored to be taken by Vogue fave Annie Leibovitz, could be Photoshopped for all we know, but there's just something about it that feels REAL!

Reps for Vogue and Bey have remained silent on the matter, but if the pic is an accidental leak from the shoot, we bet Anna Wintour is sharpening the guillotine as we type!

Jennifer Hudson appeared on Ellen yesterday to show off pictures of the dream closet she built inside her new Chicago home, and it's a stunner!

Featuring a plush white rug, two royal purple couches, a giant crystal chandelier, and enough space to fit an airplane, JHud's closet would make Marie Antoinette green with envy.

As if the last pair didn't sell for enough $$$!

A pair of green striped silk slippers that belonged to Marie Antoinette sold at a Parisian auction on Wednesday for more than $81,000, five times the expected amount.

DAYUM.

The guillotined queen gifted the slippers to her manservant, Alexandre-Bernard Ju-Des-Retz, in 1775 and were passed down to his descendants.

And unlike the last auction, these shoes were CONFIRMED to have been worn by Marie Antoinette, as the winning bidder was given a certificate of authenticity.

Now that's what you call a good buy!!

She’s super chic so why wouldn’t Unkle Karl be on speed dial?!

After getting landing the role as Marie Antoinette in Farewell, My Queen, Diane Kruger went straight to "the most cultured person" she knows, Karl Lagerfeld, for advice!

She told the Wall Street Journal

Karl Lagerfeld presented his Chanel Cruise collection in the gardens of Versailles on Monday.

The 2012/2013 line is obviously inspired by the 1700s and Marie Antoinette, just don't tell Karl that.

He said of his designs:

"It’s serious revolt. It’s not at all 18th century. It’s very rock. You can hardly recognize the girls."

Understatement of the day.

It's going to be inneresting to see if and/or how these will be modified for the red carpet and who will be the first celeb to wear it!

Pippa Middleton stepped out in Paris on Saturday looking like a modern and hip Marie Antoinette for Arthur de Soultrait's 18th century-themed birthday party.

Rather than dressing up in full-on Marie Antoinette garb, Pippa paired her pink costume with her favorite Whistles leather jacket, black leggings, gold snake print heels and a Lamb 1887 clutch.

It's so nice to see our precious Pippa again, we just wish she got more dressed up for the theme.

Whoever bought her dainty shoes would make their original owner proud!

A pair of delicate silk shoes that "might" have been worn by Marie Antoinette on Bastille Day in 1790 recently hit the auction block and they weren't cheap.

The auction house expected the 200 year old shoes would fetch no more than $5,000 so they were obviously tickled pink when the winning bid was more than $57,000.

Dayum.

The size-six, white mules DO sound absolutely presh, with tri-color pleated ribbons adorning their facade.

The female who favored frivolity is smiling down on her modern-day patron!
