Mike Tyson Is Opening Up A 40-Acre Weed Resort, Y'all!

Now that weed is officially legal in California, Mike Tyson is hoping to make some green by growing it!

According to The Blast, on December 20, the former boxer began construction on a 40-acre cannabis resort — appropriately titled "Tyson Ranch" — in California City, CA where he was joined by business partners Robert Hickman and Jay Strommen, as well as city mayor Jennifer Wood.

Hickman says the "undeveloped lands are primed to be cultivated."

Twenty acres of the ranch will be dedicated to cultivation facilities that "will allow master growers to have maximum control of their environment." The athlete also plans on building the Tyson Cultivation School, which will teach growers the best ways to produce premium marijuana.

The resort will also feature a hydro-feed plant and supply store, an extraction facility, an edible factory, premium "glamping" campgrounds and cabins, and an amphitheater.

Aside from business, the former Heavyweight Champ believes in the healing properties of weed, and how its compound CBD (cannabidiol) reportedly acts as an anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, and antipsychotic agent that has been used to treat PTSD.

Additionally, Tyson Holistic — which operates the ranch — makes a strong effort to employ men and women who have served in the armed forces.

Because the place is located near Edwards Air Force Base, the 51-year-old hopes to create lots of jobs, and to become a positive, unifying force in the community.

Sounds like a knockout to us!

Unbelievably, Feldman himself was driving the bus — and he had a suspended license at the time, leading to the first citation.

Wedding planning companies are offering edibles, weed bouquets, and even full open cannabis bars in states where it's legal.

Naturally, people were quick to chime in on the subject. While most were in favor, some made it clear they would regretfully decline an invitation to a weed wedding, and others had some burning questions.

Nevada Declares State Of Emergency After Running Out Of Recreational Weed — Just One Week After It Hit The Market!

no title

Just one week after legalizing recreational marijuana, Nevada's supply has already run out!

That's right, more people want pot than Nevada's distributors can keep up with. The problem is that stores must apply for a cannabis distribution license (just like a liquor license) — but so far only 47 have been granted.

Now that the state's governor has declared a state of emergency, it sounds like they're trying to rush more licenses through processing to keep up with demand.

The Nevada Tax Commission said in a statement on Tuesday that it will consider emergency regulations to provide a structure for marijuana distribution to retailers, and would allow liquor wholesalers to get involved in the weed world:

"Based on reports of adult-use marijuana sales already far exceeding the industry's expectations at the state's 47 licensed retail marijuana stores, and the reality that many stores are running out of inventory, the Department must address the lack of distributors immediately. Some establishments report the need for delivery within the next several days."

Adding:

"The business owners in this industry have invested hundreds of millions of dollars to build facilities across the state. They have hired and trained thousands of additional employees to meet the demands of the market. Unless the issue with distributor licensing is resolved quickly, the inability to deliver product to retail stores will result in many of these people losing their jobs and will bring this nascent market to a grinding halt. A halt in this market will lead to a hole in the state's school budget."

Keep in mind, sales just began on July 1 and this is already a problem!

Better figure something out quick, or those are going to be some pretty sad stoners! LOLz!
