Filed under: Film FlickersBette MidlerLady GaGa

marisa tomei joins us and them

This sounds like a good role for Marisa, but what we're REALLY looking forward to is her performance as Lady GaGa in that biopic! When's that gonna happen already???

In the meanwhile, Marisa Tomei has just been cast as Billy Crystal and Bette Midler's daughter Alice in Us and Them, which is an upcoming family comedy by You Again director Andy Fickman.

george-clooney-villa-italy-friends.jpg

It's good to be friends with George Clooney.

Over the weekend, in the wake heart-wrenching breakup, George invited a few of his close friend to his villa in Lake Como, Italy. Joining him on his pleasure cruise to his private estate was long time friend Cindy Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber, as well as his The Ides of March costars Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood.

Looks like everyone is dressed to impress and is having a good time. Sometimes the single life doesn't really suck!

Marisa Tomei Is "Thrilled" By GaGa's Casting Thoughts

Marisa Playing GaGa

How would you feel about a GaGa movie, like a biopic?

Excited?? Us too!

Now, how would you feel about Marisa Tomei playing GaGa?

Perfect, right??

Apparently GaGa agrees, and Marisa Tomei is "thrilled" that the singer would think so highly of her movie work that she would want Marisa considered for the role — if one happened to come along!

Here's what the GaGalicious had to say:

"I would have Marisa Tomei play me. I am such a Marisa Tomei fan. All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry, because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum."

And here's how Marisa responded on the View:

"I was thrilled when I heard. I love her. I love her music. And she's a smart businesswoman. So I was so touched, really. I think it's incredible that she likes my work and that she'd think of me in that way. I thought it was great."

We hope the Hollywood producers are listening, because despite Marisa's age (46), we feel like she's a pretty fab fit for the role!!

What would U think if Marisa played GaGa??

If you don't agree, who would U want to see??
