We're sure this has nothing to do with RottenTomatoes.com's recent announcement that Jennifer Love Hewitt is The Worst Actress of All Time.

Looks like that even though there have been some recent rumblings that she could be joining Law & Order: SVU, it's been confirmed that J. Love will be not coming on to the show.

The GOOD news though is that Ice-T WILL be returning. He tweeted:

I’ve just locked in my new SVU deal. So I’ll officially be back for the next 2 years at least. DONE.

INSIDE SVU: At this moment no one else is locked as new members of the show..

So, there you have it. J. Love HAS not signed a deal to come to L&O.

However, sources do say that there still could be a new female detective coming to the show.

Hmm…we vote for Ice's wifey, CoCo! She would be the most bootylicious detective ever, no??

Anyone would be! Adding the responsibility of another life into your own is a BIG step!

Earlier this week, Mariska Hargitay revealed that she and her husband adopted a baby girl, which they named Amaya Josephine. Though we just found out this week, Chris Meloni, her Law and Order: SVU costar, has known for quite awhile! As he put it, "Uh, yeah [I knew she was adopting!] I'm her partner!" Ha!

Anyway, when asked how things are going for Mariska and her new bundle of joy, Chris sang his partner's praises, calling her "extraordinarily intelligent" and insisting that she has a lot of "love" to share with her new daughter. However, he added that though she possesses "endless patience," Mariska still was "a little stressy stressy" while she was planning her adoption.

If she was a little stressed then, she's going to be a WHOLE LOT stressed now with a newborn in the house. But we bet, if you ask her, it's all worth it!

Sharon Stone spent her Tuesday working on the set of SVU where the aging actress is set to play a "police officer-turned-prosecutor" over the course of 4 episodes.

At least she's looking good.

Kathy Griffin's kiss with Mariska Hargitay on last night's episode of Law and Order: SVU ended up on the cutting room floor! Kathy Tweets:

"They DID cut the kiss w Benson. I AM BABS DUFFY!!"

This is outrageous and HIGHLY homophobic editing we might add! Not impressed, SVU!
