Chrissy Teigen, Mark Ruffalo, & Countless Others Join Rose McGowan's #WomenBoycottTwitter Movement After Account Suspension

celebs boycott twitter for rose mcgowan

We doubt Twitter is pleased about this.

On Thursday, Rose McGowan announced that she, along with many other women on Twitter, would be boycotting the social media site on October 13. Why?? Well, the #WomenBoycottTwitter movement came about after the service temporarily suspended the Charmed alum's account amid tweets about Harvey Weinstein and Ben Affleck.

Harvey Weinstein has officially been ousted from Hollywood.

Understandably, many have flocked to Twitter to celebrate Harvey's firing as the industry vet harassed several beloved actresses in Tinseltown — including Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan.

Hollywood needs to do better.

On Tuesday, Forbes released its 2017 list of highest paid actors in the world, and Mark Wahlberg landed the number one spot with $68 million.

The 46-year-old Boston-native made tons of dough from his roles in Transformers: The Last Knight and the forthcoming Daddy's Home 2.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson came in second place by making $65 million, while Vin Diesel finished third with a whopping $54.5 million.

As we reported, 2017's highest paid actress Emma Stone made $26 million, which is $42 million less than Wahlberg. In fact, the top 14 actors all made more than the La La Land starlet, including costar Ryan Gosling (#14, $29 million).

This is so damn frustrating!

Get Your First Look At Matt Bomer's Controversial Role Playing A Trans Woman In Anything!

no title

Matt Bomer is a talented actor.

But that still won't ease the outrage on the cisgendered star playing a transgender woman in the upcoming film Anything.

In this first look at the Mark Ruffalo-executive produced drama, the Magic Mike star is seen playing Freda, a Hollywood-based trans woman who falls in love with a man (John Carroll Lynch) who has just lost his wife.

Bomer's casting sparked controversy last year, with members of the LGBT community voicing frustrations over the lack of trans representation in Hollywood.

Trans actress Jen Richards, who last year argued that a trans woman should have been cast instead of the American Horror Story alum, pointed out the real missed opportunity will come during the film's press tour.

'Many People Will Die' — See All The Strong Reactions To The GOP Finally Passing Their Devastating Obamacare Replacement Bill

no title

Republicans were finally able to pass their replacement for the Affordable Care Act — apparently without even reading it!

The GOP-run House held their vote after several amendments were added to it but before the bill could be read or its Congressional Budget Office score could be determined — though the latest CBO score showed 24 million fewer insured by 2026, and word is all the changes just made it worse.

And it's already basically just a huge tax cut for the wealthiest 2% of Americans.

Republicans reportedly celebrated finally getting rid of Obamacare with a keg party. Meanwhile Democrats weren't laughing. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida said:

"Make no mistake, many people will die as a result of this bill."

After the horrifying news, some are angry, many are despondent — others look to the fight ahead in the Senate (who reportedly WILL at least examine the GD bill)!

The Internet Reacts In Outrage As Donald Trump Drops 'The Mother Of All Bombs' In Afghanistan

Filed under: Donald TrumpTwitterMark RuffaloScary!Viral: News

no title

In case you hadn't heard the blast, the U.S. just dropped a 22,000 lb bomb on Iraq Syria Afghanistan.

Apparently Donald Trump is making good on his campaign promise to "bomb those suckers" — which of course means going back on his promise to stay out of it and focus on American infrastructure.

The largest non-nuclear weapon in the world, the Massive Ordinance Airblast Bomb or MOAB (colorfully known in the military as the "mother of all bombs"), was dropped on an ISIS-K "tunnel complex" — a network of caves used by the terrorist group's Eastern Afghanistan affiliate.

According to the official statement by U.S. Forces - Afghanistan:

"The strike was designed to minimize the risk to Afghan and U.S. Forces conducting clearing operations in the area while maximizing the destruction of ISIS-K fighters and facilities."

While some are cheering on Trump dropping bombs — which sadly will only encourage him — many are pointing out the unfathomable cost of using such a device. Others don't want you to forget he may have not-too-hidden ulterior motives.
