Well this is definitely a change from Battleship and Friday Night Lights!

Steamy-dreamy actor Taylor Kitsch has reportedly joined the star-stuffed cast of Ryan Murphy's HBO film version of iconic play The Normal Heart!

Taylor will play Bruce Niles, a gay investment banker who is SO moved by the horrors that result from HIV/AIDS that he becomes an activist fighting to raise awareness about the disease.

The Savages star joins Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, Jim Parsons, and Matt Bomer in this retelling of the poignant, heart-breaking Tony-award winning production.

No news yet as to how this "movie" will take shape… we've heard it could be turned into a mini series, but it may just be a fully-fledged, uninterrupted film.

Either way, like most things Ryan Murphy touches, we're sure it'll be riveting!

The Avengers, the movie that no one has stopped talking about since it hit theaters last May, is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on September 25.

Since Marvel wants people to KEEP talking about it until then, the studio has released clips from the movie that remind us why we loved it in the first place.

What a night Channing Tatum had in NYC last Saturday!

The Magic Mike star gave a group of groveling girls a moment that they won't soon forget when we agreed to pose for a pic with a bachelorette party's bride-to-be and then performed a strip tease from his recent flick.

After snapping the pic, the married man even wished "the blushing gal the best at her wedding."

Aww…what a gentleman.

Sources say he was dining with a friend at popular Meatpacking District restaurant Toy when the ladies approached. Soon after making the young woman's night, he went out to satisfy his own and met up with Avengers star Mark Ruffalo to party at The Box until 2:30 a.m.
