This is a tough one.
Kalyn Chapman James, the first black Miss Alabama in the state's history, has been suspended from her TV hosting gig after calling the man who shot and killed five Dallas police officers last week a "martyr".
James, who's a host on south Florida PBS station WPBT, posted a video to Facebook on Sunday, opening up her emotions to the world and trying to make sense of all the terrible violence we've seen of late in America.
The video is raw, honest, and nuanced, but it's also highly controversial, because in the span of two minutes, James goes from grappling with a tough period of violence, to essentially excusing Micah Xavier Johnson's horrific shooting spree.
