Tilda is apparently set to play Strange's immortal mentor The Ancient One.

The character is traditionally depicted as an old bearded man, but after they couldn't find the right fit, Marvel decided to cast a wider net and go with a bolder choice!

Innerestingly, this will be the SECOND time Tilda has taken on the role of a previously male character in a comic book movie; in 2005 she played the archangel Gabriel in the Keanu Reeves version of Constantine.

Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and is set to hit theaters November 4, 2016.

Matthew McConaughey Playing The Villain In Marvel & Sony's Spider-Man?? Get The Deets On The Reboot Rumor HERE!

no title

Will Matthew McConaughey be the next great actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe??

The latest Spider-Man reboot casting rumor isn't about Peter Parker but instead about his greatest enemy!

[ Video: Matthew McConaughey Reacts To The New Star Wars Trailer ]

While Asa Butterfield is rumored to be the leading contender for Spidey, Oscar-winner McConaughey is now rumored to be in talks to play Norman Osborn!

The father of Peter's best friend Harry, head of Oscorp, and eventually insane super villain Green Goblin would be a juicy part that would allow Matthew to ham it up.

But as the McConaissance continues, his roles have mostly been more about subtlety and nuance. So we're not sure this casting is really in the cards…

Interestingly, Matthew costarred in Interstellar with actor Timothée Chalametone of Asa's fellow contenders for the role of Spider-Man.

This Fan-Made Title Sequence For A Black Widow Film Gives A Glimpse At What An Actual Spinoff Could Look Like!

A fan makes a Black Widow movie title sequence

We can dream, right?

Well, it seems lately that's all a Black Widow movie could be, since Marvel hasn't even hinted that Scarlett Johansson's character would get her own spinoff.

To some, the concept seems like a joke, especially considering ScarJo spoofed a fake trailer for an SNL skit.

But for fans of the sexy Avenger, that's just not enough.

One fan in particular took matters into his own hands and just went ahead and created a title sequence for the film we fantasize about.

[ Photo: ScarJo Wigs Out On The Set Of Captain America! ]

Christopher Haley made very espionage-themed graphics to open the movie that may never be. For his After Effects class, he created a James Bond-esque montage introducing each character and their actor counterparts, over the song Sour Times by Portishead.

He uploaded the project to YouTube Tuesday, where he also briefly shared his vision for the hopeful installment in the franchise:

"Cut off one head, two more shall take it's place. . . For this speculative title sequence of a Black Widow film I decided Black Widow's villain would be. . . Black Widow. Yelena Belova, to be specific. Belova believes herself to be the superior Black Widow, and in some ways she is right. Swift and ruthless, Belova is the most talented assassin to graduate from the Red Room–and now she is Hydra's most deadly weapon. At Belova's side is a super-soldier of her own, Alexi Shostakov–the Red Guardian, who also happens to be Natasha's former lover. When the new heads of Hydra make a play for the power of the infinity stones it is up to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top agent to stop them."

Wow! We'd see that!

Especially since the fictitious cast includes ScarJo protecting her role, Rosamund Pike, Samuli Edelmann, and Agents of SHIELD's Clark Gregg, and Ming-Na Wen.

Ch-ch-check out the whole sequence (below)!

Looks like our casting bet was a sure thing!

Because the new rumor swinging through Tinseltown is that Marvel and Sony have decided on a new Spider-Man, and his name is Asa Butterfield!

The Hugo star has reportedly emerged as a frontrunner after multiple young stars were brought in to screen test!

[ Related: Marvel Wants Selma Director Ava DuVernay To Direct A Superhero Movie?? ]

But according to Latino Review, this thing is a done deal! All there is left is to sign the papers and make the announcement!

If the baby-faced 18-year-old really is our high school aged Peter Parker, we're guessing Marvel will make it official with the quickness.

Spidey will make his movie debut in Captain America: Civil War, which has already begun filming!

So what do you say, fans?

Do you like Asa Butterfield as Spider-Man?

If You Like Country Music, You Won't Anymore After You See Brad Paisley's Hand-Drawn Music Video For Crushin' It

So much secondhand embarrassment packed into one tiny video. LOLz!

Not only is Brad Paisley's new superhero-themed music video for Crushin' It pretty meh, but he also mixes Marvel and DC universes together — Not cool, Brad!

The 42-year-old must have a had a ton of free time on his hands recently, because he just drew and animated his newest music video parody all by himself. We have to give him props for doing it though!

The video features Brad and most of country music's biggest stars as superheroes tasked with defeating giant beer can robots — seems about right.

[ Video: Taylor Swift As A Backup Dancer For Brad Paisley In 2007! ]

Brad stars as Steel Moonshiner, a play off Iron Man, Carrie Underwood as Carrie UnderWoman, a la Wonderwoman, Jason Aldean as Jason All-Green, aka The Hulk, and Florida Georgia Line as Beavis & Butthead.

Is that country music's version of shade?

If you are a country fan, you'll probably like all the self referential fun, but it really just is too kitschy for us to get behind.

With that said, we bet it wins tons of awards this year, because that just seems like it'd make sense to the country music community.

Ch-ch-check out the most awkward 4:27 minutes you'll experience today (above)!!!
