Huge Mutant Rat Killed In Brooklyn

Oh no! Now who's gonna train the Ninja Turtles??

This massive white rat (3 feet long with tail) was killed after being speared with a pitchfork in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

Appaently Hugeass rats is a real problem in the area.

“They come out at night and the daytime,”

Confessed one horrified local. Another resident told BlackandBrownNews.com about a frantic scene in which rats began scrambling across the nearby playground:

“Adults had to grab children and run because a lot of rats came on the playground. The kids were screaming.”

WTF?? Something reeelly needs be done about this insane infestation. Hopefully this pic of the man-sized monster will gain some attention to the area pest problem.

P.S. Splinter was brown, so to the best of our knowledge Leonardo, Raphae, Michelangelo, and Donatello still have their master.

Freak Lobster Is Too Big To Boil

giant lobster

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger have an affair with a lobster too? LOL!

This monster of a lobster was found by New England Lobster Co. in San Francisco. who decided it was too big and shocking to be someone's dinner.

This dude weighed in at 18 pounds and is estimated to be 75 years old!! Firm's bookkeeper, Jennifer Vargas decided eating the king of the lobsters wasn't right.

"This seemed like a [lousy] way to go. A lot of the customers were interested in him - the problem was they didn't have a pot big enough,"

explained Vargas.

Luckily her boss agreed. Now this old beast and his massive claws live in the New York Aquarium, run by the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Giant Great White Shark Spotted Where Jaws Was Filmed

Giant Great White Shark Spotted Where 'Jaws' Was Filmed

OMG!

What started off as a nice fishing trip among friends turned into a potential Hollywood horor film when they came upon a massive 20-foot-long great white shark. (We would have dropped dead).

According to boat captain Jeff Lynch, the sea monster circled his boat a couple of times, long enough for him to catch a couple of photos, before it disappeared into the deep.

Mr Lynch said: "To see something that big was crazy. It was as big as my boat."

Before seeing the shark, Mr Lynch had already contacted the Coast Guard because he had seen a dead whale floating off the coast. Shortly after that he noticed the 20ft-long shark 'bumping and nudging' the whale carcass.

Will Farrissey, who was on Mr Lynch's boat when the shark was spotted, told the Boston Herald:

"We waited for it to eat the whale, but it kept circling, nudging and bumping the whale. The girth on it was impressive."

The 1975 film Jaws, was set in the fictional town of Amity Island but was mostly shot in Martha's Vineyard.

If this shark comes back we're blaming Spielberg!

(See the blurry pic of the shark below).

Judge Takes Queen Of Mean's Money Away From The Dogs

That's messed up.

A Manhattan judge has denied a bid by the ASPCA, the Humane Society of the United States and other animal groups to get a much larger share of the foundation's billions, finding that even though the late "Queen of Mean" directed her massive fortune go to the dogs, the foundation trustees have the discretion to give it away however they want.

The dog charities argued they should have standing to challenge how the foundation gives away its money because Helmsley's mission statement said the cash should go "to purposes related to the provision of care of dogs."

The animal groups said the foundation's trustees haven't exactly respected Helmsley's wishes, because of the aprroximately $450 million they've given away to date, only $100,000 - roughly one fiftieth of one percent - has gone to canine causes.

Rachel Bilson Walks A Monster

Rachel Bilson walks giant doggie

Why are you walking? Get a saddle for that beast!

Rachel Bilson was spotted taking her massive pup for a walk outside her home in Los Feliz, CA.

But given her slight frame, it looks like the 5ft2in actress could easily be pulled along the pretty street in the uber hip Los Feliz neighbourhood of Hollywood.

Because let's face it, even a particularly violent gust of the notoriously strong Santa Ana winds seems like it could topple the slender star.

In addition to the Russian Terrier above, Bilson has another two pooches - called Penny Lane and Thurman Murman.

Penny Lane was adopted by Bilson with her former love and OC co-star, Adam Brody.

Later last weekend Racheal was spotted with her on again off again ex- fiancee Hayden Chrstensen.

Tell us Ray, are the doggies' daddy coming home?

What Made This Poor Dog So Fat? HUMAN FOOD!

Poor Fatty Cassie

Yikes!

"Fish and Chips" is what made this Cassie, the British boarder collie, weigh three times what she should.

(Can you imagine what american food might have done to him?)

Her elderly owner fed Cassie sweets, leftovers, and fried food every day — and admitted she had NEVER eaten dog food.

She was brought into the Dog's Trust re-homing Centre, two weeks ago, when her owner fell ill and had to go into hospital.

It took THREE people to get the massive canine out of the car.

Shocked staff immediately put Cassie on a diet, but are struggling to help the hound — who weighs the same as Justin Bieber.

Workers say,

"She initially turned her nose up at the wet and dry dog food we gave her because it's not as tasty as the human food she's used to but she's getting better."

Right now the pudgy pooch weighs 130 bls, her goal weight: 40 lbs.

Marine Scientists Stumped By Dolphin Deaths In The Gulf Of Mexico

Dolphins washing up on Gulf coast

Unfortunately, scientists are still baffled by the unusual amount of bottlenose dolphins washing up on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

Between February and April, 406 dolphins were found either stranded or reported dead offshore!

So sad!

At first, Marine scientists were debating whether last year's massive oil spill or the winter cold snap were to blame.

However, the shocking increase in occurrences has prompted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to designate these deaths as an "unusual mortality event" or UME.

Not only are a large number of dolphins washing on shore, but most of them are very young.

Despite the oil spills traumatic effects on the marine environment in the gulf, investigating officials think the dolphin deaths may be completely independent from the oil spill and are looking "at the gamut of all the possibilities."

Even with 15 dolphin carasses washing up with oil on them since the spill, NOAA Fisheries Stranding Program Coordinator Dr. Teri Rowles said:

"We are looking at what is the impact of the oil spill and the response activities to the oil spill event, and what impact they had on the Gulf of Mexico ecosystem. We did not say that the dolphins have died because of the oil, just that they have come back with oil on them."

Let's hope they find out what is killing these dolphins and can possibly use the information to prevent further dolphin deaths.
