The Church of Scientology will NOT be pleased to hear this…but pretty much everyone else WILL!
Comedy Central and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have just signed a new deal, in which the show will remain on the air through 2016! Hooray!!!
For those of U who haven't been keeping count, that means that the show is going to reach the 20 season mark!!!!
Here's what Comedy Central president Michele Ganeless had to say about it:

Those are some IN-TENSE enemies you've got there, South Park! Hell, pretty soon they're going to have their own Super Power Building!
We were seriously creeped out to learn that the Church of Scientology reportedly launched an investigation against South Park through "informants, public records, and various other means" in an effort to search for "vulnerabilities" in Trey Parker and Matt Stone's lives. WTF?!?
Even though the Church wasn't able to do any serious damage to the South Park creators and their show, they WERE able to get the Scientology-themed episode Trapped in the Closet taken off the air.
How did they pull that off, you might ask? Tom Cruise allegedly refused to promote Mission: Impossible III if the episode was EVER aired on Comedy Central as a re-run.
Here's what Trey and Matt wrote in response:

We're in that time of year that if you want to go see a Broadway show on the cheap, you'd better move it. From post-Labor Day through Thanksgiving, the Great White Way doesn't see very much action and the theaters all feel the sting right at the beginning of September.
That is, except for The Eugene O'Neill Theatre, home of The Book Of Mormon. In Broadway's annual post-Labor Day slump, the show managed to outsell standards like Wicked and The Lion King, pulling in $1,293,582 last week! Wicked, which has a higher capacity at the Gershwin than the Eugene, only brought in $1,293,582.
God must be on those boys side! Hows it feel to be smooth sailing, Trey Parker and Matt Stone???

Yeah, you heard us. Book of Mormon, The Movie. You know who wants this to happen?
You, US … and the masterminds behind it all, Trey Parker & Matt Stone!
As Book of Mormon conintues to be a force to be reckoned with on the Great White Way, the South Park dudes turned Broadway producers admit that they have big plans for the show behind the twinkling lights of New York. In their minds, they're already planning on making a big screen adaptaion of the show, probably in the next "several years" confirmes Trey.
Matt elaborates that the show still has a lot of ground to cover on Broadway and during its tour, but insists that when BOM is ready for the big screen, it will already have a well-arranged team in place. Matt explains:

Why would anyone stop at 14 Tony nominations for The Book of Mormon?? They wouldn't!
It's been winning other awards left and right, and now it has another one to add to that list — the Drama League Award!
We didn't have a doubt, but to those who did: Trey Parker and Matt Stone are incredibly talented! They know exactly what they're doing, and they know comedy through and through!
It won that award for best musical just on Friday. We can't wait to see what else it'll garner… and we can't wait to see the musical itself!
Will U be seeing it soon??

VERY MINOR SPOILER ALERT: Details about tomorrow night's episode of South Park below!
On tomorrow's episode of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have decided to take on the royal wedding…only their version will be set in Canada!
The episode is entitled Royal Pudding, and it spoofs Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding, buuuut things don't go quite so smoothly this time around…
Right before she walks down the aisle, the show's version of Kate, who is "aboot to be princess of Canada" gets kidnapped!
Hopefully things work out so Canadian William and Kate can live happily ever after and be together forever…and of course go honeymooning in the Seychelles. LOLz.
Which royal wedding is your favorite? The ACTUAL royal wedding, or do U like the idea of the South Park Canadian royal wedding better? Ha!

Good lord! As if this show even needed the 14 nods it received this morning!
Trey Parker and Matt Stone's smash new musical, Book of Mormon, not only CLEANED HOUSE picking up accolades at today's Tony Award nominations annoucement, but also apparently sold out EVERY seat for every show last week - and then some!
According to statistics, the performances averaged out at 102% capacity, which means that there were audience members standing in the back of the theater watching!
We have a feeling that with the nominations, it's only going to become MORE in-demand!
Good lord! We need to see this one!
We're excited to see how the show continues to do!
