Ricky Martin's 2-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino, COULD have another brother or sister on the way, if Martin decides to adopt.

He spoke about the possibility of adopting after his performance on the CBS special A Home for the Holidays, a program that raises awareness about adoption.

Here's what he had to say:

"Even though I started with surrogacy, adoption is probably my next step.

I had to be here as a father … 20,000 children have been beautifully impacted by this project. Adoption is beautiful. Give it a try!"

Ricky Martin was brave when he revealed to the world that he was gay, last March.

While on Oprah on Tuesday, Martin spoke all about his experience revealing his sexuality to the world.

Martin spoke about how he sent an e-mail out saying "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man," after which he felt "numb" and then "relieved."

Here's Martin with more on his coming out experience:

"When I realized, okay, I just pressed send, whoo … I was alone. I was in my studio alone for a minute. My assistant walked in and I just started crying like a little baby. I started crying."

Ricky claims that his twin 2 year old sons, Valentino and Matteo, were the main reason he felt he needed to reveal his sexuality. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I couldn't take it anymore. It was too painful. But I guess the most important thing is my children … When I was holding them in my arms I was like, 'What, am I gonna teach them how to lie?' Whoa, that is my blessing right there. Then, when I was holding my children I said, 'Okay, it's time to tell the world.' "

We truly respect and admire your reasoning to reveal your sexuality to the world, Ricky!
