New Trailer For X-Men: First Class!

Well, this is a VAST improvement from the shiteous poster they just released!

Check out the latest trailer for the upcoming prequel to the X-Men franchise, the Matthew Vaughn-directed X-Men: First Class (above)!

Looks as though they're trying to feature more Jennifer Lawrence in the promotional footage, given her recent casting in The Hunger Games!

But hey! We think it's for the best! She showed off how fierce she is in Winter's Bone, so we're pretty excited to see her take on the role of Mystique!

Do Rebecca Romijn proud, gurl!

What do U think?? Are U excited for X-Men: First Class??

Nicholas Hoult Picked For Jack The Giant Killer

Look At Those Eyes

We're glad to see this seksi young actor is finally getting some larger roles! He'll be in the upcoming Matthew Vaughn directed X-Men: First Class. You might remember him from About A Boy, and the controversial UK show Skins.

Now, we're happy to report that he'll be the lead in the Bryan Singer directed drama Jack The Giant Killer!

Here's a bit about the story:

"Scripted by Christopher McQuarrie, Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke, Jack the Giant Killer is a scary revisionist take on the Jack and the Beanstalk mythology and Hoult will play a farmer who leads an expedition into the giants' kingdom to rescue a kidnapped princess. Bill Nighy, Stanley Tucci and John Kassir were recently cast."

Sounds fab! We'll be there when it's released! And we'll invite everyone we know!

Good luck with all your projects, bb! Let's hear more from you!

Oh, and you can stop by a hang out with us anytime you want! LOLz!

X-Men: First Class Getting The Twilight Treatment?

Well, at least you might not have so much trouble dragging your girlfriends to the movie, fellas!

X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn has revealed that there is going to be a lot of "teen angst" in the latest installment of the X-Men franchise - just the sort of thing that gets Twi-Hards all weak in the knees.

Matthew went into some detail about how the relationship between Magneto and Charles Xavier would play out, before ending with:

"It’s got a lot of teenage angst. The Twilight girls will like it."

Oh, we have no doubt that they will!

James McAvoy: get to work on your smolder!

Captain America: The First Avenger…Coming Soon To Russia, South Korea, & the Ukraine!

captain america to change title in some countries

Looks like this will be a controversial move with hardcore Captain America fans, as well as Patriots everywhere.

The upcoming Marvel superhero movie Captain America: The First Avenger will have a much less patriotic title in South Korea, Russia, and the Ukraine.

In the countries we mentioned above, the title will be shortened to The First Avenger, which is a decision that was based on political factors "market research results."

Looks like the full title was cool with most countries, but Marvel, Paramount, and international distributors decided to make the change for the countries we listed.

Here's what the film's director Joe Johnston had to say about Captain America's international appeal:

“He wants to serve his country, but he’s not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver. He’s just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don’t change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier; you have to stay who you are inside, that’s really what’s important more than your strength and everything. It’ll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate … the idea that this is not about America so much as it is about the spirit of doing the right thing. It’s an international cast and an international story. It’s about what makes America great and what make the rest of the world great too.”

And here's what competitor/X-Men:First Class director Matthew Vaughn had to say about it:

“It’s going to be interesting to see how the movie does internationally with that character’s name. I think changing it is smart.”

We understand the reasoning for changing the title, but then again, he IS Captain America. They can shorten the title, but they can't very well change his name in the movie…unless they went more generic and called him Captain Planet.

We see no reason why that would be a problem.

Do U think it's okay for them to change the title to appease certain countries? Or should it be the same everywhere?
