This jerk is just another person trying to use Lindsay Lohan!

Someone call her agent and cancel this project, STAT!

Matthew Wilder, the director of LiLo's upcoming movie Inferno, apparently tried to go see his star over the weekend in prison, but was denied visitation. When he arrived at the Lynwood Correctional Facility, he was turned away since Lindsay had already used up her visitation passes for the week.

It didn't really matter though whether he got to see her or not. He just needed to get down there so he would have something to tell the press for attention. This is what he told them:

“It was really frustrating because I wanted to see Lindsay in person on Saturday to try and lift her spirits. I went down to Lynwood and filled in all the paperwork and waited in line for about 45 minutes only to be told at the last minute that I could not see her because she had used up all her visits. I immediately called her assistant, Eleanor, and she told me that she would in fact not be able to see anybody which was really frustrating…To tell you the truth I don’t know if all of this publicity about Lindsay will be good or bad for the movie and we are all just itching to get started at this point. Hopefully, she can draw from her experiences and when she comes back from rehab she can shows everybody exactly what she can do. Despite everything we still have a lot of confidence in her and back her 100 percent for Inferno.”

Ugh! Disgusting! We can't be the only one seeing this BLATANT exploitation!

Dina, step up, do some parenting/managing for once in your orange life, and tell Lindsay that this is not the project of her! She has a real chance at a comeback when she gets out of rehab! Don't have her hitched to this schmuck and have it all go to waste!!!

Well this dumbass is clearly taking a course in 'how to ruin your career before you even get it off the ground!'

Matthew Wilder, the young director who was foolish enough to cast the trainwreck that is Lindsanity LOLhan in his yet-to-be-made film Inferno as the lead - pornstar Linda Lovelace - is not only still standing behind the hard-pAArtying wacktress, but has somehow managed to convince the film's financiers to hold off on production until she is released from jail!

STOOPID.

He reveals:

“We still have financial backing in place – in fact the financiers have doubled their efforts to get the movie made since Lindsay was sentenced. I want people to know that we are all still behind Lindsay 100 percent and that we have not approached anyone else to play the part of Linda Lovelace. We are waiting to see how her schedule pans out. If she’s released too close to Christmas then we may wait until 2011 until we start filming- but we will just have to wait and see. I think the sentence was harsh and to some extent she was a victim of her own celebrity but we all still want her for Inferno.”

Really brilliant of them. Stand behind the notoriously unreliable cracked out jailbird who hasn't had a hit movie in four years!

We understand that she's probably the most 'authentic' looking person to play a drug-addicted slam pig, but heads up, people - make-up can do wonders!

Time to cast someone else!

They must really have some faith in this trainwreck!

Matthew Wilder, the writer and director of Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story has said that he will wait for Lindsay Lohan to finish her prison and rehab sentence before filming.

He explains, "We are proud to have this remarkable artist work on our film" and added that the film is "100 percent behind Lindsay."

Lindsay is also in negotiations to star in the Willie Nelson movie, The Dry Gulch Kid and producer Kerry Wallum said that if Lindsay chooses to accept the role:

"We're behind her. We'll wait until this all blows over."

Sure, if she doesn't get thrown into rehab…or jail.

Matthew Wilder is the director of Lindsay Lohan's next flick, Inferno, which is about Linda Lovelace, the porn star. Matthew is very happy with his choice of star, not because of her talent, but because how much her own life parallel's Linda's.:

"Both of them grew up in this case where there was kind of this whole industry built around them…It's built around destroying her."

Hmm, we don't think LiLo needs any help from the industry in destroying herself. She is doing well enough on her own!

Just wait till you get her on set, buddy! You won't be singing her praises for much longer after that, trust us.

Again, that's if she can still fit you in. There's an orange jumpsuit being steam cleaned for her as we speak!

At least one person is happy Lindsay Lohan missed her court date to go to Cannes. (Besides her father who is like a pig in shiz with all this extra publicity he is getting.)

Many people wondered why the hell LiLo traveled across the sea to go to the film festival with such an important date looming over her head. Now, we know that the reason was to promote her next movie she so desperately needs to do well.

You know, the one where she plays a porn star.

The director of that film, Matthew Wilder, when asked about Linds appearance at the festival, had nothing but GLOWING things to say about his prison-bound starlet:

"She indeed did some terrific promotion of the film while [in Cannes], which you will see shortly. Her appearance there sparked an enormous amount of international interest in the picture."

And according to Matt, Lindsay even paid her own way to be there! What a team player!

Expect another "I had to work" plea when she gets in front of the judge again, whenever that will be!

Wilder was then asked to comment on Lindsay not making it back in time for her court date this morning and he claims that she is currently doing her best to get back to the states ASAP:

"She is struggling earnestly to get there. She's a good person. I should only comment more after I know that Lindsay is home and safe."

You mean when she is behind bars? You can say it! Bitch is going to the big house!

Clearly, they haven't started filming this movie. Otherwise, we're pretty sure this director wouldn't be singing such a happy tune about Lindsay. We all know what kind of "actress" she can be!
