Oh, just wonderful.
Indiana police were reportedly called to the scene of a domestic dispute recently after a woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a kitchen knife - when he would not allow her to view his Facebook page!
According to the Indianapolis police report, Maurice Davenport told authorities that he "had gotten into a verbal altercation over a Facebook page" with Shemicka McVey "because McVey was attempting to view his webpage and he was attempting to keep her from viewing it."
They then moved the argument downstairs - because their two-year-old child was asleep upstairs (even better!) - which is when it became physical, and McVey slashed Davenport's left bicep with a kitchen knife!
McVey also suffered a punch to the head, but no domestic abuse was charged by either party.
Oh, and they're still both Facebook friends!
Aw, good! Glad to know they resolved their issues!
WTF is wrong with people?
Here's some food for thought: If you wrote or posted something on your Facebook page that you don't want someone - like your significant other - to see, chances are it's NOT APPROPRIATE to be published on a social-networking site AT ALL.
But seeing as a majority of the public apparently thinks now that their every thought is interesting enough to share with the world, we're not surprised that incidents like this happen!
