Momma Aguilera took her 3 year old to see Shrek the Musical in El Lay on Tuesday and during intermission they got to go backstage and meet Shrek himself.

With the way these stories are persisting, we have a serious feeling that something is very wrong.

Star Magazine is once again reporting that Christina Aguilera has hit rock bottom, and now claims that between her 'personal demons,' her failed marriage, weight gain, a string of flops, an enabling boy toy, and most recently, her arrest for public drunkenness, the singer is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

A source explains:

“Christina’s lost her confidence since she split from Jordan. She gets terribly sad, and that’s when all the awful memories come flooding back and she ends up numbing herself with booze and food. Everyone is worried sick. She needs to get help before something even more serious happens."

What a poor thing.

It really is so sad.

Unfortunately, for any recovery to actually be effective, she herself has to recognize that she has a problem, and it doesn't sound as though she's ready yet.

Hopefully it will be soon, though. We don't want to see this situation escalate anymore.

Although Christina Aguilera's new beau Matt Rutler gave her a ring, it is NOT because they are engaged!

He "gave [a ring] to her for her birthday," claims a source. "It's not an engagement ring and they're not engaged. It was a surprise gift from him."

They may not be getting hitched, but both of them have met the each other's families. And that includes her son, Max! Matt and Max met on an outing to the Peterson Automotive Museum in El Lay.

"Christina took Max on the fun outing so he could bond with Matt," added the source. "Max was initially a bit shy, but later warmed up to Matt. It seems very important to Christina that Max got along with Matt."

Very sweet. Maybe there is an engagement in the near future!

On the power of women:

Life & Style is reporting that Christina Aguilera went on a drinking bender in Hawaii last week until things got a little scary.

The newly single pop star reportedly partied hard every single night while vacationing on the tropical island, but things got out of control after having dinner at Motimoto Waikiki. Xtina was so "wasted, she didn't even make it to dessert before having to be carried out of the restaurant because she was so drunk."

Oh, gurl, no. This is not the kind of behavior you should be displaying.

Sure, you're a single gal now and you're free to have fun, but don't forget about your little bb Max back home. He needs a sober momma who will be a good role model for him!

Christina Aguilera officially filed for divorce Thursday from her husband Jordan Bratman and according to the petition, "irreconcilable differences" was cited as the the reason. This comes as a bit of a shock as new information revealed that it was actually Xtina who reportedly cheated!

Everything else in the divorce docs looks civil yet one-sided, thanks to a clear cut prenup. None of Christina's earnings will go to Jordan and there is a petition to keep him from filing for spousal support. The official date of separation is listed as September 11, 2010 and Christina is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their child, Max.

In addition to alleged cheating, reports of Aguilera being "mean" to her husband and also public outbursts are said to have contributed to the marriage's demise.

Sad.
