On Saturday evening, Kate Winslet hosted the Cardboard Citizens Fundraising Gala in London wearing a white Max Chaoul floral dress, but not for very long.

Now before you go getting all excited, it's not what you think.

Kate ended up donating the dress and her Longines watch to the auction, which raised money for the theater group made up of homeless and displaced people.

So generous!
