Esquire's editor-in-chief David Granger let it slip at a magazine conference that Scarlett Johannson was supposed to be on the cover of May's "Women We Love" issue. But as we all know, booblicious actress Christina Hendricks took the cover.
A souce says, ScarJo was committed to do the cover, but "things change rather quickly. I think her commitment on Broadway [in Arthur Miller's 'A View From the Bridge'] prevented her from making good."
And then there's this.
Another source blabbed that David's harsh words "probably had something to do with the fact that David is fiercely competitive and would have been pissed off if the cover fell through."
In the end who really cares? We've all seen Scarlett on a cover before. Plus, with Christina on the cover it gave people something to talk about since it was unexpected.
Victoria Beckham covers the May issue of Vogue Germany and we must say, she looks absolutely stunning!
Inside, Posh gets taken a little bit out of her element as she poses in icky places like a diner (with food!) and a run down house. However, she werks it.
But seriously, WTF is up with that duck she's riding?
Random and amazing all at the same time!
U like???

Vogue Paris managed to wrangle up some of Hollywood's A-List to pose for three different covers all featuring Penelope Cruz, as she was the issue's guest editor.
