Uh oh, PETA is not going to be too pleased with this one.
The OUT 100 portfolio of this year’s most inspiring people will soon be released. Though a select 20 have already been announced, including individuals like Andrej Pejic and creative director Nicola Formichetti.
However, we’re not exactly sure what to make of Formichetti holding the carcass of a lamb split in half.
Kind of reminiscent of GaGa and her meat dress. Ok, we get it, but why the lamb in half? Why not a prop or anything else?
Out writes about the talented designer:
“Before an artistic partnership with Lady Gaga made him a household name (the infamous meat dress was his idea), Nicola Formichetti had established himself as a driving creative force among fashion insiders and continues to work as a stylist and editor. Last year, Formichetti was also named creative director of MUGLER — the relaunch of the iconic label founded by Thierry Mugler — and is determined to democratize fashion. "I'm not an elitist,"he says. "I want everyone to share what we're about."
It's hard to imagine the Oscars without its jaw-dropping ending!
As you know, La La Land was mistakenly announced as the winner of the Best Picture award when it was really Moonlight that won! The shocking moment led to an awkward series of events, with even Jimmy Kimmel cutting in to smooth everything over.
