On Sunday, the Emmy-winning actress was laid to rest in Fairfield, Connecticut with a brief, intimate funeral service.
About 50 people attended, according to The Connecticut Post, which cited local police who worked as security for the service.
No expense was spared in laying the trailblazer to rest, as her family reportedly spent over $200,00 on the angel statue for Moore's grave. Fairfield Police Lt. James Perez said of the intimate send off:
"It was very quiet, a small group. It's a beautiful site that she's at. It's nice what the family did. It was a nice little send off for her."
