meek mill in a daze post prison

Meek Mill is out of jail, but he's kind of in disbelief over that fact.

As we previously reported, on Tuesday, the 30-year-old rapper was released from prison after serving almost five months behind bars for violating probation. His release comes thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's ruling that he should be granted bail and his legal team's Post Conviction Relief Act petition for freedom.

Hours after he was released from prison on Tuesday, Meek Mill rung the ceremonial bell before the start of Game 5 of the Philadelphia 76ersMiami Heat playoff series in Philly!

Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin personally picked up the rapper from the slammer just before 7 p.m. and drove him to the arena, where he was the team's VIP guest.

Rubin had visited Meek while he was incarcerated over the past few months for violating his probation. As we reported, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered to release the 30-year-old from prison on Tuesday, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley's widely-criticized decision to keep him behind bars.

Due to claims from Meek's team that Judge Brinkley had been unfair to the rapper during the trial, the justices added that she "may opt to remove herself from presiding over this matter." But Judge Brinkley insists on seeing this to the bitter end.

Her lawyer, A. Charles Peruto, Jr., told TMZ that the judge will not remove herself from Meek's drugs and weapons case, and doesn't feel the Supreme Court

Meek Mill is officially a free man!

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania decided to release the 30-year-old rapper from prison on Tuesday, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley's widely criticized decision to keep him behind bars.

Judge Brinkley denied Meek bail last week after prosecutors asked her to overturn his 2-4 year prison conviction because of a police corruption case involving Meek's arresting officer, Reginald Graham.

Many were outraged by the judge's decision — including, apparently, the justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, who released Meek with no bail, pending a hearing in about 60 days to possibly dismiss the conviction.

The justices refused to dismiss Judge Brinkley from the case, but said she "may opt to remove herself from presiding over this matter."

The All Eyez on You rapper is counting his blessings following his release after months of fighting to get out from behind bars. He shared on Twitter:

Rick Ross returned to the stage this weekend for the first time since being hospitalized earlier this month reportedly due to a heart-related health scare.

Weeks after the rapper was found unresponsive at his Florida mansion, he was getting the crowd pumping at The Light nightclub in Sin City early Sunday morning.

Based on his Instagram posts, Ross was more than ready to be back in business; he rapped a few songs, poured some champagne for a few fine ladies in the front row, and demanded the release of Meek Mill from authorities!

According to TMZ, Da Boss led a chant calling on the police to #FreeMeekMill, who was sentenced to a minimum of two years in jail for violating his probation. Other rappers have expressed their disapproval of the "unjust" sentencing, so it's no surprise that Ross is also rallying behind his label mate.

We're just glad the big guy is off his hospital bed and back to work. See some photos from his set (below)!

Judge Who Sent Meek Mill Back To Jail For Violating Probation Is Reportedly Being Looked Into By FBI!

Meek Mill

Sketchy.

Earlier this month, a judge sentenced Meek Mill to two to four years in jail for violating probation from his 2009 drug and weapons case.

It's said one of Mill's lawyers believes Judge Genece Brinkley has a grudge against the celeb because he wouldn't do a remake of Boyz II Men's On Bended Knee and give her a shoutout. Um, yes. You read that correctly.

Now, the FBI has launched a probe into Philly judge presiding over the case, according to Page Six.

The 30-year-old's legal team argues Brinkley has shown "enormous bias" against Meek and acted "inappropriately" by demanding the rapper to drop his current management, Roc Nation, to sign with Philly's Charlie Mack (who has a criminal history).

A source told the outlet of the new development:
