Somehow, we think Will & Grace alum Megan Mullally COULD be right for this role! Ha!
Mrs. Mullally and actor hubby Nick Offerman have just joined Lionsgate's Gay Dude, which is about two best friends who vow to have sex before prom, but while on their journey, one of them admits that he's gay.
Okay, so Ron Swanson wouldn't be that excited for Tammy 1, considering he hates and fears his first ex-wife.
If you're still not watching Parks and Recreation, we don't know what's wrong with you. But, if you ARE, then you know that Ron Swanson (played by the amazing Nick Offerman) has two ex-wives named Tammy, who are both terrible people. Megan Mullally plays Tammy 2, Ron's second ex-wife (and his real wife!). We got a hint of Tammy 1 on the season finale back in May, but we have yet to see who will play her.
Are you dying to find out already?? Tammy 1 will be played by….
We're beginning to lose count on how many celebs are trying to get on Glee!
The next star to reveal that she would love to be a part of the hit show is Megan Mullally.
"I mean, they never offered me [a guest star role in Glee], but if they did, I'm sure I would do it. It seems like it would be a blast to do. I know that there's two ways to go, because they're probably aware that I sing. So that's one way to go, and then the other way to go is to do something with Jane - just play some, like, crazy nemesis of hers or something. I love her and I love working with her too. She's awesome."
Make this happen!! We would love to see Megan and Jane Lynch on screen together!
We knew you were fierce but after singing and dancing with a tub of margarine, we would think you would have some humility!
On Monday, Megan Mullallypulled out of a her latest Broadway venture Lips Together, Teeth Apart, with rumors suggesting she had differences with the director. Now, sources are claiming that the real reason she ditched the show was because she want co-star Patton Oswalt fired! Insiders say that he wasn't living up to her standards of talent and she told director Jon Mantello she wanted him out. When he refuse, she walked.
Yikes! We suppose you couldn't just work with the guy a little more? Offer him some tips from your years of experience?
Consider that the show closed only days after you left leads us to believe you might have been right after all.
On Monday, Megan Mullallypulled out of her latest Broadway gig amongst rumors that she had problems with the high-profile and ill-mannered director, Joe Mantello. This morning, The Roundabout Theatre Company announced that entire production of Lips Together,Teeth Apart had been cancelled. The Artistic Director sited problems with the "production schedule" as the cause for the cancellation, but suggested they were "exploring" new options to get the show off the ground.
In other words, they can't find anyone to replace Megan!
With all the out-of-work actresses in the world, you wouldn't think they would have THAT much of a problem. Maybe you haven't looked through your Rolodex too aggressively!
Megan Mullally is leaving the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway proudction of Lips Together, Teeth Apart because director Joe Mantello is kind of a jerk!
Supposedly Mantello is known to be pretty confrontational with the actors of his hit productions, so Mullally is leaving the show that also stars Patton Oswalt and Lili Taylor. The play is about two couples who "celebrate the Fourth of July and face uncertain futures."
The play was set to open on April 9, but we wonder if Megan's departure will set things back at all?
Either way she was going to be a big draw — it can't be good for the show that she's leaving!
So, the next logical step in his recovery process is to finally get some justice!
Which is why the 30 Rock star has banded together with the other victims and officially filed a lawsuit against Walmart for their 'careless and negligent' ownership of the vehicle.
In case you forgot, the driver during the accident, which caused one death and several people to sustain severe injuries including Tracy's, was a Walmart truck driver who had been driving for too long.
